I've always liked Daniels but his lack of a consistent jumper makes him incompatible with Rondo. So he's not worth the money for the Celtics.

I really like Marquis Daniels. He would be a perfect backup SF for the defensive minded Celtics. IMO.

A versatile player... Can play all three perimeter positions... Does a little bit of everything... Quite athletic... Good defender on the ball... Nice mid-range game... Not a great outside shooter.

Without a whole lot of other options.. I'd be all for picking up Daniels, assuming no trades go ahead and he would come for cheap. leaving us with money to get a big

I want him based off him killing us when we played Indy. He scored like 20 pts every time we played them.

one of those players that always looked better playing the c's then the rest of the league so guys who only watch the celtics get biased look at him.
using per 48 stats to equal out stats per min on court he has same pts as tony allen, 1 more rebound per 48 mins, shoots worse from 2 and 3 then tony allen.
WTF, why do we care about this guy?
