Boston vs Lakers 2010

Post#1 » by NBAWestFan » Fri Jul 3, 2009 1:35 am

2010 will be great as always.

Boston will go through cleveland and Orlando

Lakers go through spurs and denver

Sheed/KG/Perkins/Davis/Pierce

vs

Gasol/Odom/Artest/Bynum

Kobe/Fisher/Brown/Sasha

vs

Rondo/Allen/Marbury/House/Allen

Sheed will even up the series. I believe he is a must sign for Boston. His length, experience and skills make him the man.

this will be a great series

I still think Allen will be traded, whether it be in the summer or at the deadline.

That's what I'm getting so pissed about. San Antonio, LAL, Orlando and Cleveland have all made major additions, and all we've done is let Leon Powe go.

Wake up Danny! Sign sheed and Daniels please, and Oberto wouldn't hurt either!!

If we trade Ray, put a fork in us. We can't afford to go through the whole re-doing the chemistry thing again like we did two seasons ago, especially considering how old KG and paul are getting.

I just pray we add Rasheed, Marquis Daniels and Fabricio Oberto.

and we might lose Big Baby----Chris Mannix just said he was on the phone w/ Sheed's agent----he thinks it's 51/49 chance he goes to San Antonio....we'll see........we BETTER do something....Mannix thinks if we don't get Sheed-we WILL get McDyess....pffft...big deal.

You may be right.
Lakers in 5
no way boston can run with LA with LO, artest, kobe, ga-strong, bynum at full strength, fisher, farmar, and brown in a contract year lookin to get paid.

If only we could get those 'experts' from the title run two years ago in here too who predicted a Laker sweep in 4 and make it a party full of doubters!
FA literally just began. You guys are serious comedy!

Yeah. Rondo v. Fisher is totally in LA's favor. LA got better, but not by much. Ariza fit nicely with and Fisher's getting real old.

If we sign Wallace and Lakers resign Odom, baring injury, the Lakers are better.

Kobe > Pierce
Artest > Ray
Gasol = KG (KG is older and coming off an injury)
Odom > Sheed
Fisher< Rondo

Jackson> Doc

A healthy Celtics Team would be the only NBA team that would have a chance against the Lakers next season. And with a healthy and hungry Garnett, a VERY good chance, no one on the Lakers can stop him...

Gasol=KG, hahahahahahahahahahaha. Maybe NOW, only on the offensive side of the ball does Gasol come close to=KG, but KG is light years better in every aspect of the game than Gasol is. KG is much tougher, better shooter and scorer when he wants to be, MUCH better passer, the leader of our defense, so on and so forth.

I think its outrageous to say Gasol=KG. You saying this b/c KG only averaged 15 ppg last season on a bum knee? The man played half a season and a few games he only played ~10 mins. Sure, he's not the 24 ppg scorer he was in 'sota, but he doesn't have to be anymore. Even today, KG>>>>Gasol. Maybe in 3 or 4 years, it'll be Gasol>KG, but as of now, when both are healthy, its easily KG>>>>>>>>Gasol.

Also, you have the SF/SG matchups wrong.
It would be Pierce>Artest (SF) and Kobe>Ray (SG). You really think LAL got Artest and they'll still play Kobe on the bigger and stronger Pierce while they have Artest chasing Ray on the outside? No.

Its more like this:

Rondo>Fisher
Ray<Kobe
Pierce>Artest
KG>Gasol
Perk=Bynum (I'm tempted to say Perk>Bynum b/c Perk was a MUCH better player in the postseason)
sheed=odom
