This is a sanity test....You have two options. Tyronn Lue or Stephon Marbury. Who would you rather have as our backup?

Let's say the contract for each would be 2 years, 4 million total.

Marbury, easily.

Danny Ainge would vote for Lue seemingly..or maybe its Doc...

Lets see a good point guard who has started for most of his career or a player who can't get minutes on a team that was missing their starting point guard.

I'd take Marbury's sister over Lue. Hopefully we're not just going to sign Lue because he's good friends with KG. They did that with Tony, and he was left sitting on his brain most of the time on the bench.

Is this a joke? Is there a rumor going around that we will sign Lue, or is this thread just a joke?

And its kind of a joke, but only because I saw so much Marbury bashing...I want to see who's willing to expose themselves and say they really wouldn't want him here. I dont think people are accurately assessing the alternatives when they say goodbye to Steph..

Marbury is better...Lue is pretty nice though, I like him. Have we lost Marbury for good already, or will we still make another offer for him to stay? + What is he demanding?

Hopefully we will make another offer, but from all reports it was a one year deal for the minimum that Steph turned down...Steph hasn't outright demanded anything..

I would love to bring in Lue... if he were our third point guard and if we didn't already have House as that role (preferably with Marbury as the second point guard).

Yea I hope we do too. I would kill to see him and KG on the floor together. He showed some good flashes last year on a couple of games. I wonder if he is looking for more money, or a longer contract? Hopefully he is in green again next year though.

I put down Tyrone Lue. I'm not a big fan of marbury, and I never, not once, saw him get in a good rhythm with the rest of the bench. It's either him going or nothing. I don't like his game. I think the stuff he does off the court is entertaining, but I'm not enthused. If all we need is someone to bring the ball up the court than Tyrone is just fine, plus he's cool with kg.

Don't think he's looking for too much money but possibly a longer contract guessing two years around four million?
FO should make it a top priority to resign him.
