The newest Celtic, Rasheed Wallace, will be introduced to the media on Thursday afternoon, according to a league source.

It is uncertain if the former Piston will sign his deal on the tomorrow's first day of free agent signing.

The Celtics and Wallace's agent Bill Strickland are expected to work out the final details and have them complete before Thursday's media session.

Apparently Donny Walsh says we're in 3rd place for Hill now behind PHX and NY..

Hopefully that isn't true.. can't believe he'd sign with total non-contenders at this point..

I would like to have Grant Hill, but it is more about the player at the price than it is filling a huge need. He is still a good player but there are going to be other good players available for the LLE. I could see Grant wanting to go somewhere he was going to have a more prominent role than what will be available to him in Boston and it would not shock me if he just stayed in PHX.

If Hill wants to go to Phx & NYK, no loss. It tells you a lot about him. Celtics don't need such an attitude.

Sheed was the key this offseason. Hill would be a nice bonus but no big deal either way. We can find a decent 2/3 no matter what.

I don't think that is fair. I mean Hill had pretty much said he was staying in PHX or retiring and then they just gutted the team. I could see Grant not being into the idea of moving his family for 18 mpg which is what Sam and Steph got after the big deal that was made about them coming to Boston. Hill has been playing 30 mpg in PHX.

Wait, is this open to the public?

Or you might mean wait outside.

Heck, i might be up for either. I would have definitely gone to the KG one, but it happened so fast.

danny told sheed in his pitch that we weren't done yet. So, if no hill, he's got some kind of plan and he's not done.

and i don't expect he meant some min vet free agent retreads either to get sheed here.

so what's up with the press conference? should be interesting. i REALLY hope they sign anthony parker next, maybe it makes too much sense. parker plus rasheed = championship. they still need that backup for rondo too i guess. marbury should just stick around, i hope he doesn't think he's worth much money anymore.
