I'm sure Portland can't wait for Boston to offer that deal.

I'm totally down for any deal that involves the Celtics landing Travis Outlaw. He's just what this team needs right now. However the trade as-is is so friggen one sided to the Celtics. Who the hell do the Blazers have as their swing men after this trade?

Dude, no way in hell any GM would do that.
If Danny could pull that one he will get GM of the year the day it is approved.

how about let's just try to get outlaw. that alone is already unbalanced in our favor. i'd love to do it but does portland actually want BBD? and if so why?

Am I missing something? did they sign a SF? are they too deep on that position?

they didn't sign hedo, but they've got outlaw, fernandez, batum, and who knows martell webster might actually be healhty.

after rudy's little hissy fit maybe they might be looking to move him. trouble is, his salary doesn't match BBD's. outlaw's does. so does webster but i doubt we want to take on that contract albatross.

outlaw would be the best but i'm not sure POR would be interested in trading him for BBD.

Portland probably does this deal if you swap out Giddens for Pierce.

There is absolutely no chance that something like this would happen. None. 10 years ago the Blazers were dumb enough to do it, but not any more. Also, we would only need two ofthe three, not all three as Outlaw and Batum are redundant. Either one is great to have. Both just creates a glut.

I really wish we could put these Baby SnTs to rest.

How about Roy and Outlaw for TA, Scal and Giddens? It works in the trade checker and it's just as likely to get done.
