Thing is, Afflalo really is too small to play the 3. So, unless the Celtics already have a back-up 3 lined up (hopefully Grant Hill sees the light), Afflalo is not the answer for that position

I like him too. He is only a 2, but if the Pistons would rather have Giddens (who's under contract for longer), then I would make the trade. Or Pruitt.

Afflalo is less athletic than Giddens but can shoot better and has actually gotten significant PT.

We'd still need a 3 but that's a separate issue.
