Baby(s&t),Scal, Giddens & Tallen for Haslem & Moon(s&t).

Miami gets a playoff tested pf in Davis to convince Wade their trying to win a ship.

We get best 2 players in the trade :P

So Miami trades the two best players in the deal to convince Wade they want to win? Haslem is just as 'playoff tested' as Baby- and isn't Moon with Toronto now, anyway?

I think Ainge's plan is to pry Wade AWAY from the Heat eventually---not convince him to STAY.

Udonis is one of my uber-binkies. Simply love the guy. He's on the books for 7.1 million this season, though. I don't know if you are aware of this, but he is also the Heat team captain. They value him quite a bit.

I don't doubt that he would be a great fit here, as a player and a person (forget about Posey, this guy is locker room gold), but paying 7 million dollars for a guy who is going to be our fourth big man doesn't make that much sense considering the issues the rest of our roster has. That and Udonis is better than a 12 min a game player. I just don't see this happening for many reasons great and small (though I would LOVE to have him here).

Really? You think that? Why would Wade want to go to Boston? Celtics will be in full blown rebuild mode very soon. What gave you the idea that Ainge will go after Wade?

LOL. maybe wade would actually like to win another title, that's why.

you should go back to your board and worry that kobe doesn't rape another girl and this time get caught for it. without him you are nothing more than the Memphis Grizzlies, with Pau as your best player.

udonis haslem is a nice ROLE player but at $7M per year he is vastly overpaid. He plays with energy but is not a good shooter. baby is a better shooter than him right now straight up .

Obviously Davis was the missing piece for Miami last year.

Let's not go nuts with Glen Davis here. Nice player. Solid player. Bench player. Not a player that convince guys like Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, LeBron James, and any other potential big name free agents to stay with their respective teams.

Haslem can do doubles-doubles no doubt but theres something about a post player who accumulates blocks like a point guard that turns me off.

The reason Moon is available is because Miami does not want to give anyone a contract passed this season. That includes Haslem, Big Baby Davis, Moon, and maybe Wade himself. This is a non starter.

Haslem is an excellent defender, nonetheless. He's a much better man and team defender than Baby is. He is also a better shooter. He's a pure role player, but a very useful one. He would be an upgrade here, but not a necessary one. We have bigger needs.

What I meant was...Ainge will not get involved in ANY kind of deal with Miami---he'd rather wait until the situation just implodes itself---D.Wade MIGHT want out---if this is the case, then Miami might want to actually get something for him----say, Rondo+ Baby/draft picks....of course Ray Allen would have to be involved for the salary match.....GEEZE people, get creative....Cause, I'm pretty sure Ainge is thinking of all avenues.
