I don't really understand what's so ridiculous about the projected stats for Carter. They have his rpg and apg from last year changing by less than 1.

If anything his assists should go up, rebounds same and/or down. Having a big man of Howard caliber = easy assists, not to mention a great shooting team that can convert when he kicks it.

Maybe he doesnt project Carter to play the same type of minutes.
Carter averaged 36.8 last year. more then any of the Magic.
Alston's assist percentage went up when he joined the Magic last year but overall assists went down due to minutes played. Rafer dropped from 33 minutes to 29 minutes a game when he joined the Magic.
Magic should have better bench strength then the Nets, may reduce Carters minutes.

Projection for Wince - shows no emotion throughout the season, get's "injured", sits out majority of regular season games, playoffs roll around where he tries to take over and loses it for the magic.
