Great backup for Rondo IMO. Don't know if the LLE will be enough, but if it is Danny should be all over Watson like a fat kid on cake!

He got waived and was owed like 6 mill. I think he could be had for the min. Snatch him up DA.

One problem with having him is that we get another point guard that can't shoot the 3 ball at a consistent clip.

i like watson. i think eddie is our back up point who can shoot even though hes not much of a point, so the rest of the minutes at pg behind rondo need to go to a ball handler and watson is more of a defensive guy than would be ideal, i think, but hes good and enough of a pg that it fits the bill if the money is right

I was holding out hope that Marbury would be back but I say snatch up Watson while you can get him.

As soon as I saw the wiretap, I wanted to come here to make this thread. He's probably one of the best options if not the best available for the backup PG position in the FA. Because he's still getting the money from OK he probably won't be asking for much, probably just a chance to showcase himself or a chance at a ring.

If we get Watson S and T for Daniels and resign baby we actually have some depth! we would have a good 2nd unit that can go out and score points.

A 2nd unit of Watson/House/Daniels/Baby/Wallace would be one of the best in the league. sub one of the big 3 in there (say pierce for house or watson) and you have a team better then what weve made the 8th seed with in the past.

Get Watson and stay away from antonio daniels (unless it marquis daniels which daniels was not explained or i missed it) but watson would be stellar

Daniels doesn't suck man.

Aparently Daniels can handle the ball if need be. So would it be necessary for us to pick up a vet PG. Maybe Pruitt should be givin a chance to fill the role the first 2 months of the season to view any progression is to be had.

If our line up is that deep then Doc has a huge job ahead of him managing the mins. The big 3 will need to rest but they are competitive but Doc needs to rise above that also the more people we can get consistent mins especially around the 20 min mark off the bench the better I'll expect the bench to preform.

Trade TA for Daniels and give Watson BAE...

Darth, Marquis isn't a bad player. He can't hit 3 pt shots, and he should only throw one up as a last resort. He *can* hit mid-range jumpers just fine, though, and he excels at a slash and score, drive and dish game. His defense is good, and I don't think we'd ever say he isn't trying out there.

What Daniels *is* is a good role player, who excels when he is given a role he can play. In O'Brien's offense, there is no way Marquis could excel. OTOH, I think Doc will give Marquis a role where he *will* excel.

I've been a fan since college, War Eagle! Yes, I'm biased, but I've always wanted Marquis on the C's, now he is going to be...so I'm stoked!

If we trade Scal for Daniels and still have the bi annual left over, I think Danny would absolutely be interested in him. If we have to use the bi annual though, I don't think it can happen.

I would MUCH MUCH rather him over T Lue tho.
