If Scal doesnt end up being part of a sign and trade for Daniels, I say we hold on to both of these guys until the deadline. Everyone and their brother knows that we're very thing at the point, but we have the skill players to make up for it. Ray, Daniels, and Pierce can all bring the ball up the court if need be. No need to rush and either sign or trade for a vet PG. Lets see where the team is then make a splash at the deadline. Teams are going to be drooling over scal and TA's contracts...So we could end up landing a pretty damn good rental for the stretch run. And who knows...Maybe Tony can turn things around and come back to form. Could you imagine if we got 07 Tony back? Our bench is already loaded...He has the skill and athletic ability to become an impact reserve in this league. Resigning Baby is a must though. Our front court would be best in the league, hands down.
Rondo/ Pruitt
Ray/ House/ TA/ Giddens
Pierce/ Daniels/ Wallace
KG/ Baby?/ Scal
Perk/ Sheed/ Swift?
I don't care if the lakers landed Artest...We have the most talented roster in the NBA right now.

Re: Hold on to Scal and TA
I agree with your princeaple of holding onto scal and ta and giddons even until the deadline where there combined expirings can net us something nice. however saying we have the best roster in the league is a bit of a stretch especially if the lakers return Odom, Us, san antonio and LA are all right there with cleavland and Orlando not that far behind, one of those 5 teams (Boston, LA, SA, Orlando, Cleavland) will win the title this year, but its anyone's guess who it will be, I would say right now the favorite would have to be the lakers if they re-sign odom.

Re: Hold on to Scal and TA
If u can get Daniels for TA and Scal, the C's should thank Ind.
TA is as bad as there is. I have no respect in his game. He has no work ethic clearly, considering he's been in the league this long and hasn't shown one stride of improvement. He constantly makes the same mistakes. He's vastly overrated defensively. If he was a "stopper" then why the hell does he go for every head fake under the sun? He cant shoot worth a lick.
I like Scal, but not over Daniels that's for damb sure.

Paul Pierce said it best about Caron Butler and the AS 2007 Game:
"Caron Butler should send me flowers for being injured so he could make the All-Star game, because if I was healthy, he wouldn’t be in there.”
