i know a lot of you want starbury back, i agree he would be a good option; tinsley not so much, and gabe would do but the guy i really want just got his rights let go by the clippers

maybe 4 years ago I would have though it was a good move, but he is done. He was never a good defender, now he would be a straight up liability. Not a fan of this idea.

While he disappointed everybody with his shooting -- and with his probably wise decisions to pass up shots accordingly -- Marbury was a pleasant surprise on defense.
If he can get his shot back, while keeping his general nuttiness focused on inoffensive things, Marbury would be by far the best realistic choice.
Those are a couple of big Ifs, of course ...
