Do you mean Baby because Scala is still under contract for another year? But that wouldn't make much sense either because they're all free agents.

atl and mem would laugh and then hang up the phone. big baby makes more sense for them, but i still dont see how atl would give up a key player in their development

Sorry, "CFAN99 you get back in your cage."

if we could get Warrick somehow that'd be clutch. Maybe for BBD?

Marvin is gonna be a stud once they get a real PF/C and he gets the touches he needs. So he's off limits.

I like Warrick, but even Wallace isn't stupid enough to give him away for nothing.

So he is going to be a stud once they get Horford at the 4 and whoever at the 5. Then he will take Jsmooves place somehow? The worst waste of a high lottery pick in some time. Think of what they could have had,cp3,deron and who else. They dropped the ball real bad there.

Marvin Williams isn't a possibility. He could easily get more from another team, hell just with the MLE, than we could offer him in a S&T involving Scal. I wouldn't mind getting Warrick if we lost Baby or maybe doing an S&T involving S&T Baby+Scal for Warrick and maybe another small piece.

Kind of surprising to think that Portland didn't go after Marvin Williams

Smith is an idiot and can't play the 3 since he can't shoot. He wasn't a waste, he just hasn't had the opportunity that most #2 picks have had. If he got the touches that Joe Johnson gets he'd easily put up 20 pts on 50% shooting.

I do agree they should've picked Paul or Williams, but since they didn't, there's no reason to talk about it.

You guys may get your wish, Memphis just rescinded the QO to Warrick.

No way Boston gets Marvin WIlliams. He's MLE type of player.

Warrick sounds plausible.

I say selecting Shelden Williams was worst than selecting Marvin Williams. Everyone knew Atlanta reached on him [Shelden], but they'd decided to stay put instead of trading down.

Marvin Williams isn't bad, he just wasn't worthy of where he was selected. He was thought to be a "sure thing."

LOL. You do know that BBD is better than Warrick? If Warrick was any good, he'd be starting on a bad team like Memphis. The guy can't shoot and really doesn't do anything that well. If Baby was on Memphis, he'd definitely be starting. No way I'd do this.

Warrick PER - 16.9
BBD PER - 15.2

Athleticism advantage - Warrick
Position flexibility advantage - Warrick

Warrick was the ONLY Grizzly to have a positive on/off court production (his Roland Rating was +2.9). He's a better rebounder and a better defender. Heck, he even shoots jumpers better (eFG of 37% on jumpers vs. BBD's eFG of 31% on jumpers).
