I figured we'd get our back up point guard and inside big. Daniels can play both small forward and shooting guard if Willy Walker wets his pants. If I've forgotten anyone on the new roster lineup its probably because they stink.

You kno what Cfan..I respect you man..you keep making the craziest damn trade threads ever, getting torn up for it, yet you still keep coming back with more..I can respect that homie..lol

I don't want to trade Eddie house though...we would be a better team with Baby+House, than Blake and Pzryzibiilllifedwierweiriiilla..IMO.

I'll try to stick to one trade idea thread at a time. This way there's not too many totally awesome trade idea threads in a row.

Yep, I'm like a very good looking terminator.

I think that Portland would want to do the trade because House is such a great shooter. I heard somewhere that Fernandez his having his time of the month and wants to leave. With House on board it wouldn't be too much of a dropoff if he did go.

It could be made into two separate deals if the cba is violated.

any deal that involves Glen Davis to portland would have to involve Bayless and a min, or Batum, Fernandez, and a min to not violate the cba.

You've explained it to me like I'm 10 yrs old now try to explain it like I am 4 yrs old. Because I don't understand why that would be the case.

actually. i've been explaining it to you in the more mature direction.

4 years old: You can't do it.

10 years old: You can do it only with these exact scenarios.

adult explanation: Glen Davis is a BYC player. If he is signed and traded, he could be the only Celtic in the trade. His salary counts for matching purposes half with respect to matching for the other team and full with respect to the Cs. Min players can count or not count with matching, so they can bridge the cap between say the $4.50M for Davis that the Celtics need matched and the $2.75M that the Blazers need matched. So, if Davis got the largest contract that we could offer him, the full mid-level, to trade him, he would count $2,927,000 for our team and $5,854,000. We could trade him for a player making no more than $3,758,750. In a deal with Portland, he can't be involved in a trade with Outlaw, Roy, Webster, Blake, Oden, Aldridge, Miller, or Przybilla.

I get it now, mommy wow I'm a big kid now.

I could see Portland definitely doing this deal because Brandon Roy has said publicly that his team needs a backup 4. They've got to give Benjamin Buttons (Oden) a chance eventually to be a starter for them. If he ages like in the movie he will look younger as his career goes on. Because right now he looks like he could swap stories about the old days with Bill Russell.

Come on Cfan, I would rather get Outlaw, than Blake but Pryz would make a nice backup center.

I don't think Portland would be willing to make that deal. They'd probably rather trade for David Lee then trade Outlaw for Baby. I'd probably pitch a tent if it did happen though.

Trade idea Bos/Mil

T.Allen, House, Scala

for

B.Bowen, Bell, M.Allen

New Roster

Perkins/R.Wallace
KG/R.Wallace/M.Allen
Pierce/Bowen/B.Walker
R.Allen/Daniels/Giddens
Rondo/Bell/Hudson

Boston does it to get Bruce Bowen and he's more reliable offensively and defensively then Tony. Bell and House are similar so not much of a change there. M.Allen and Scala are scrappers for the end of the bench and they can give back and foot rubs.

Milwaukee does it because they get rid of some long contracts for expirings.

Anything to get rid of Tony Allen I'm down for. He's been a waste of space. At least Bruce Bowen etc might show something during the playoffs.
