Yeah I expected that X-Mas game.

Only a couple semi-tough road trips. This schedule is friendlier than last year..

I'm so pissed off for yet another season we are on the road on XMas day. We got screwed last year in the Finals rematch when they made us, the Champs, travel to LA. Now this year we go to Orlando.

That is the only thing I was praying for, a home game on Xmas.

Sick right now.

Definitely going to one of the Celtics/Cavs games at home and definitely the OKC game on March 31st. I'm pumped!

I like the March and April schedule. We should be winning by a large margins and go to the playoffs on a good note.

Not trying to be a troll, but we beat you in the playoffs last year......therefore you should have to come to Orlando for Christmas Day.

Though I do agree that it was kinda wrong to have y'all play out in LA when in fact you guys were the defending champs that year

The first game of the season is at 7:30 AM? Are we playing in an army base?

Traditional, "something on ice" is what keeps the C's away from home during Christmas. I think it's been like that since...forever? Am I remembering that correctly?

Haha. Guess we'll have to break out the "irish" coffee to pregame.

We have over 30 nationally televised games!

Thank goodness because I just canceled my league pass subscription and was worried that we wouldn't have as many national games as in the past.

I'm pretty sure it's 7:30 PM..they just messed up...I don't think there has ever been an NBA game before 11 o'clock..has there??O_o

Plus on wiretap is says OPENING NIGHT double header Celtics x Cavs..it's a night game..has to be..

Much friendlier than last year IMHO. It seems the Cavs had a cakewalk last year while we just got reamed...

You guys keep playing on the road on Christmas because nobody wants to travel to frigid Boston when they could have the same game in LA or Orlando, where the weather is almost guaranteed to be more pleasant in late December.

And as much as the Celtics players would love to be at home for Christmas, it makes more sense to send them to a nice place like LA or Orlando where their families can join them and have a good time rather than to send the Lakers or the Magic to Boston where most everyone is going to be disappointed to go. This doesn't only go for the players but for the refs and TV production crew as well. Not to mention the Christmas games are on ABC which is owned by Disney, so setting the games in LA and Orlando allows them to produce a sunny 5-hour Disneyland-Disney World commercial in the midst of winter. You think they're gonna pass that up?

If you want to play Christmas Day games at home, start up a rivalry with Toronto, Milwaukee, Minnesota, or Detroit-- cause those are pretty much the only NBA cities more miserable than Boston in the winter. You already have Chicago and Cleveland covered.
