Celtics assistant GM Dave Wohl has left the team and is expected to be named an assistant in Minnesota if the Timberwolves hire Kurt Rambis.

Wohl's departure seems another sure sign that the Timberwolves are on the verge of hiring Rambis as their new head coach.

This has absolutely RUINED my summer. Dave Wohl represented the American dream. He showed that ANYBODY can make it in the NBA if you just try hard enough. Dave was a slow, short, lefty (just like me) who really didn't have much talent. But he played for almost 4 years and had such an impact that they are considering retiring his number in Houston. The fact that his number #11 has also been worn by Elvin Hayes and Yao Ming doesn't hurt. Nevertheless think of clicking your heels together three times and finding yourself as a PG in the NBA....and then later being a coach on the Boston Celtics. Better than lottery I say. So long Dave - keep living the dream

Well truth be told Dave Wohl work for the Lakers under Pat Riley during the Showtime Era, that's how Kurt knows him. Dave has a ton of experience in the NBA as a player, coach, and management. He's done it all and it will be a lost for the Celtics but you guys will recover.

I just hope rambis doesnt trade al jefferson to the lakers for a bag of popcorn!
