It seems to me that what ever is the most logical thing, is the most likely thing. Sure Ainge could get someone out of the blue that we can't predict but would the safe bet not be:
Re sigh Davis. 2 years makes sense. Maybe he gets a player option 3rd year as an added incentive.
Get Daniels. Try to get rid of Tony Allen in the process if possible.
Bring back Marbury. The Daniels trade/signing is being held up. If could simply be becasue Ainge already knows we get him one way or another and he wants to see how things shape out ie what moves other team make and if it is possible to unload Tony in a deal. Extra motivation might be to save the LLE for Marbury. Hopefully Danny is at least trying so that if he can't do it Marbury might be less inclined to feel slighted and take the Vet Min.
Rondo/Marbury/Hudson
Allen/House/Walker
Pierce/Daniels/Giddions
KG/Baby/Scal
Perk/Sheed/Williams
That is a pretty great lineup and in my opinion the most logical way to end the offseason.

That team would be unstoppable..and SO much deeper/better than the Lakers/Cavs/Magic...I would even go as far, as saying that team would be good enough to crack the Bulls regular season win record..

Re: The most logical wrap up to the offseason?
I don't know if it's logical, but I think TA will be on the team to start training camp--his expiring becomes more valuable during the season and nobody wants him right now. Maybe Ray Allen suffers an injury, TA gets 2 weeks of starter's minutes, and we're able to flip him and some other expirings for something good. TA also provides good injury insurance at the 1/2/3 spots.
With Baby in fold, and Shelden just signed, I think it's possible that Scal goes in a sign-and-trade for Daniels. Before now, Danny might have been unwilling to include Scal without better alternatives on the roster--now he might be willing to let him go.
I think Jason Williams is a real possibility. Assuming he's healthy, and has at least another season in him, he could be the perfect backup point guard--good handles, 3 point range, and he can create shots for others. He could possibly pave the way towards trading House--and since he's the only expiring we have who actually has value beyond his contract expiration date, it's something we should be looking at...

Re: The most logical wrap up to the offseason?
Boston doesnt want to bring back marbury, at this point i would bet jason williams is a more likely candidate
and it has become increasingly obvious that bird doesnt want to take allen back in a s&t, thats what is holding the whole thing up
i sounds like by the end of the week marquis will sign here for the just the LLE, and baby will have a two year deal; leaving us with rondo, allen, pierce, kg, perk, sheed, house, daniels, scal, baby, sheldon, giddens, and walker having guaranteed deals; and us having two roster spots to play with
1 i guess will be for lester hudson and the other might be for bowen or left open for some room to maneuver
