How do you like this Depth Chart?

Rondo/Arroyo/Hudson/ (House/Daniels)
R.Allen/House/Daniels/ (Giddens/Walker)
Pierce/Daniels/Williams/ (Walker)
K.G./Davis/Wallace/ (Scalabrine?/Williams)
Wallace/Perkins/Davis/ (Scalabrine?)

"Best ever" is rather seriously exaggerated.

The prior three Celtics championship eras had had HOF 6th Man of the Year types coming off the bench (Ramsay, Hondo, McHale, Walton).

Scott Wedman was like Peja Stoyakovic

Jerry Sichting was a very effective backup PG, at least on offense.

Un seriously, its a solid bench but northing really at all spectaculer, Davis and house are limited role players who are good at what they do, but nonetheless not all around very good players, Sheed, is getting pretty darn old we will see what he has left, Daniels could start for about half the teams in the NBA but is no all star, we don;t have arroyo, but other then Sheed and Daniels, no one would be starting for most teams.

I have to disagree with Davis not being a good all around player. Davis is an all around player. He can shoot, score, rebound, pass, set screens, play defense, and has good court awareness. People seem to forget that BBD was not in any type of shape to be playing 40 minutes a game in the playoffs. But he was forced into playing that much and it hurt his rebounding and defense. BBD still did a good job helping us win games and even hit a game winner. BBD is a player.

Can we stop with this?

Davis is a young F/C who couldn't get more that 6mil guaranteed from anyone.

Daniels spent the last 3 years as a bench player/injury reserve for the Pacers (one of the worst teams in the NBA over that stretch). Who is willing to sign for close to the minimum.

Arroyo was only a OK PG in Europe and isn't even on the team yet.

I mean these guys are all fine to have, but let's not be silly we have great depth. With these signings our depth is improved, but it still is the weakness of the team.
