ot - moved to NC

So i moved this year to Raleigh. I'm hoping that Comcast puts the games online, but I'm not holding out hope. I am hoping that someone can help me with info about watching video online. I know sites like ustream and justintv (I think I've only really heard of them) let people stream what ever they want. Would I just have to go on one of these sites at the time that an event I wanted to watch was on and hope to find it? Or is there a more reliable way to go about this. I know someone will suggest buying league pass but I'm a grad student and I don't have the money for that.
I've tried to make this thread as nondescript as possible so it can remain up.

I can probably help you since i always have to watch the games online (seeing as i live in belgium) but can't really post it on the site as you well know. So if you would give me the means of reaching you more directly i would be more then happy to help you.
It's really not that hard but you have to know which sites to use and such.
So give me your email or something and i'll hook you up. I probably watch about 50-60 games a year, even though they're all in the middle of the night for me.

What I've done on occasion is avoid the score (and the board) until the next day and download the game on bittorrent. The whole process can be kinda a bitch but no commercials to deal with and it's usually better quality than the streams that I've watched.. not that I've seen that many streams.
Anyway google davka bt for a good bball torrent site.

I live in NY and have DirectTV and the NBA League Pass broadband is free if you buy the NBA package so you have the option of getting DirectTV as your TV provider and not have to worry about it. You can also purchase the broadband by itself
I'm not sure how local restictions affect in regards to the Charlotte Bobcats depending on where you are moving. On DirectTV I have to watch the Knicks and Nets on their local channels (MSG and SNY) as they are blacked out on the NBA Pass due to local restrictions. I don't think it applies to broadband, but if you get DirectTV you will probably have to watch their local broadcast when the Celtics play the Bobcats. Also more and more cable providers have the NBA League Pass so you may even get it through your local cable company.

Should we assume you'll be studying your namesake?

Last year I was at school and was fortunate enough to room with a HUGE spurs fan. He wanted to watch all his games and I didn't mine watching the Celtics (i went to school in philly area) so we just split a league pass ended up being only 15 or 20 bucks a person a month, not too bad.

Good luck, man! I was lucky enough to be born, raised, and go to school in NH so never had that problem...
