Just drafted in the 6th round of the NBDL expansion draft by your Maine Red Claws.

Classic.

Where did you find the expansion draft results? Every link i check only shows pre-draft info, no results. Did the Claws get James White or was he just the first pick overall?

Why must we be reminded of that terrible 2001 draft?

Yeah, it was on Facebook and Twitter.

And yes we did get White with our first pick which was the #2 overall. The Red Claws could potentially be a strong team if everyone plays, but 3 of their 10 picks are already either signed overseas or are up in NBA camps, so they could end up looking for bodies in a hurry.

Kedrick Brown will finally live up to his potential and leads a Celtics (NBDL) team to a title.

Makes you want to pack up everything and move to Maine!!!

Was the NBDL around when Kedrick was drafted?

Only 28, if he keeps up last years numbers, someone may call him up this year if desparate due to injuries.

He'll be gunning for Bill Walker's job.

Come to think of it, Kedrick and Bill are pretty similar players (DONT HATE-- Walker hasn't proved anything yet). So maybe Doc will bring Kedrick in and and say "Now Bill, is this where you see yourself in eight years? Think about it."

Actually I'd love Kedrick to make it back to the NBA. Great story it would be.

This is AWESOME. I can FINALLY wear my Kedrick Brown Jersey again. I couldn't be happier, and even better, I live about 10 minutes from where they play up here in Maine.

I am a little disappointed we couldn't get Nik Caner Medley on the team, but I'm excited with who we have. Between Kedrick and James White, we should get some great dunks.

I dont know where you live?

But there's a good chance that you ought to make that move?

Theres not too many better places to live IMO...

I know one of the team owners, Bill Ryan, who also owns and operates Oxford Plains Speedway. He's pretty fired up about bringing professional basketball to Portland!

And with Danny's son at the helm it will be interesting to see how things go?

Hopefully some future stars will improve their games and make the parent club occasionally....which will add to the fun of watching them play.....

Where's Robert Swift in all of this? If he doesn't make the Celtics final roster, could he too play for Maine? I gotta get me a Red Claws jersey...that would be tiiight!
