Dickau going to Suns camp instead of Boston

The Suns are eager to back up Nash with an even worse defending point.

Free agent guard Dan Dickau decided to pass on an invitation to the Celtics training camp, choosing to attend Phoenix's instead. The decision could bode well for Lester Hudson, the point guard taken by the Celtics with the 58th pick in this summer's draft.

Good news for Hudson. I wonder if he thought he didn't have a chance? If so, I would say that it's in favor of Hudson as well.

Did anyone really think Dickau was going to compete for a position? Lester has a good shot to make the roster out of camp. But, if we need his roster spot during the season, I still see him eventually getting cut.

Dickau fits in better with the Suns anyways. His lack of defense is disgusting.

Hudson would have beat-out Dickau no matter what but, I'm glad we won't be discussing the potentialities of his Beantown comeback - it would have been gross.

I like the idea of competition in camp for Hudson, I hope they bring in a few other wannabes to remove any sense of entitlement.

hudson is better option for 15th spot than dan dick-au.
Dickau's desicion will change nothing at all. for both boston and phoenix
