The first report of the day comes from Greg Dickerson who says Tony Allen might miss the preseason with a lingering ankle problem. Maybe that's why he couldn't be dealt this summer.

haha, and here I was thinking TA was going to give us some suprise depth at SG this year. Help provide some key minutes at certain games against the more prolific SGs in the league.
And he's already out before he plays.

Well he is coming off ankle surgery over the summer so I don't think this is a huge deal him being delayed a few weeks. We will definitely have our fair share of Tony Allen appearances this season.

Doc Rivers said on Tuesday that Kevin Garnett (knee) has no medical restrictions and will practice when training camp opens on Tuesday.
This is a terrific sign that KG will be ready to roll on opening night, though he will undoubtedly be eased into the preseason. We'll keep a close eye on his progress.

Dickerson says Rondo has added 10 pounds of muscle and is now 186. He was 160 entering the league.

No TA in pre-season means more minutes for Walker, Giddens, Daniels etc... which is a good thing as far as im concerned
Great to finally get some good news through about KG, be very interested to see how he looks the first time out there on court
