"Knee pain free" says KG.........

Kevin Garnett said Saturday that his knee is pain free and he feels more flexible with his surgically repaired right knee than at any time since the operation. Garnett was nimble running the court at Salve Regina University and didn't favor the right leg as much as Tuesday, the first day of training camp.
"I feel really good, I wouldn't (BS) you guys if I was hurting I would tell you. I'm pretty straight up with everything that's going on with me. I feel good. I'm excited about how we are and I'm just trying to get my part together to make sure I'm ready for when we need to be like we need to be."

Very cool to hear. Now for all the conspiracy nuts to show up and accuse KG of lying or mishandling his own knee.

This is very good news. If KG says his knee is good, then it's good. We will all see for ourselves in a few days when pre season starts.

Injuries to great players are always bad news. I would know that all too well considering my man Grant missed a chunk of his prime years to unsuccessful ankle surgeries. Glad to hear KG's doing alright and that it isn't just lip service.

When the league's best players are out with an injury, everybody loses-- the league, the team, the fans. Personally, I always want the Celtics to play teams at full strength, and it's good to hear fans of other teams with the same attitude toward the Celtics.

Im really not worried about this whole knee thing, that limp was barely a limp and it looked like he had been practicing a while there.

Good news to hear!! Let's hope Doc can limit KG's minutes, at least in the beginning of the season, so it doesn't become a concern later on in the season...

I really hope this is true, driving home from work on 98.5 they had simmons on and he was talking about he barely looked 60-70% when he watched the practice. Il hold off my judgment until the preseason game....wish it was on tonight...ha

He's the only one with that opinion.....we all saw the show so we can now form our own judgements......he now needs to go on the air to talk up his opinion to prove our eyes are lying to us. :o

Sometimes we feed the trolls by some of the negative **** we post but that's how it goes......we need to trust our club and our players........imo

I felt the same way about injuries to Arenas, Yao, McDyess, and many other players. I want my team to win as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't wish injury on any player. That's just bad for competition no matter what.
