Bosh the best PF in the East???

Even as a Raptor fan I have to dispute this claim. Garnett make him his biatch every time they play :S

Correction: YOU don't care...so why even make the comment?

It's an interesting debate and if you don't have anything constructive to say, oh well

So you're saying that it's an asinine statement? Bosh is definitely in the top 3 in the East and Garnett is slowly on the decline. Who knows, this might be the year that KG gets dethroned? CB4 has put on 20 lbs of muscle and is up to 250 lbs.

As long as #5 brings us #18, I could care less if someone at www.whotheman.com thinks Bosh is better than KG.

i fancy that.

as for Chris Bosh being the best power forward in the east? i mean he is in the upper echelon but he really isnt the best at anything until he proves he can stay healthy for a season and get out the first round.

LOL Tell me how you REALLY feel!

Bosh was way too soft - agreed. KG manhandled him whenever they faced one another but Bosh seems a lot more dedicated this offseason. If you haven't noticed, we've revamped our roster and SHOULD be a top 4 team in the East. I just wish the man would grow some and be more physical.

Yes.
Maybe my judgement is being clouded by how terrible the team around him is, but in no way do I think he affects a game on the level of a defensive, TEAM player like KG.
I'd say he's right in the pack with Brand, Smith and Tyrus Thomas' of the world, imo.

Find me a player that DOESN'T seem dedicated in the offseason. All it is this time of year is articles slurping how so and so dropped 10lbs, or so and so added 15lbs of pure muscle.
Don't believe the hype.

KG is better on the defensive end by a mile and is just as good on offense. He's also a better leader, re bounder and many other things. SO Bosh is a good offensive player and I like him a lot, KG is much better even at 30+ yrs old.

Let's get off the bandwagon for a bit and think about it realistically. If you had the choice of Garnett or Bosh, who would you pick right now, right now going forward. Garnett is 33 years old, he's starting to decline (the injury last year). It's exactly this blind devotion to your team and your player that leads to aging lineups and being maybe "good enough to compete, but never quite good enough to win it all" for several years. At least the Pistons recognized this and blew up their lineup, starting from scratch. I dare anyone to say that the Celts are good enough right now to beat the Cavs or Lakers for the championship. Bottom line, you give me a choice right now, I take Bosh, Griffin, West over Garnett.

I'll bet you are the same guy who said this about KG when he was with the Timberwolves "Great player but not good enough to win" or "Over rated, just gets his numbers but not worth the money, look at how his team is doing"....yeah...now you're singing his tune.

Garnett has proven that he couldn't win without the supporting cast, so let's not forget about the past Raptors teams and how terrible they were. You give me a choice right now I'll take Bosh over Garnett right now.

Why do raptor fans think we care about the raptors or what they think about the celtics? We don`t care! For us raptors are irrelevant...

That's a sanctimonious, narrow-minded way to think, broseph. It's a legitimate debate. I just wanted to see what Celtic fans wanted to say. The Raptors are a team on the rise and don't be shocked if you cats are dethroned sooner rather than later.

This is not even a debate, the only reason this is even brought up is Bosh's age. Garnett is widely recognized as the best PF in the east and possibly in the NBA. Bosh is an efficient scorer and all around an excellent young player. Garnett is possibly one of the greatest players to step onto the court in history. Honestly I like Bosh but I would say that Big Al is a much better player, and he was honored to be the centerpiece of a trade for Garnett. When Bosh's career is over he may be remembered and possibly even be a consideration for the hall, however when Garnett hangs them up he will definetly be a first ballot hall of famer and possibly remembered as a member of the front-line Mt. Rushmore.

Celtics are good enough to beat the Lakers, Cavs, Magic and Spurs..
What up now?

And that's why we hang Championship banners, while Toronto hangs division ones..vets win championships..not young guys who can't even get out of the first round in the playoffs..

A team that has KG at 53 years of age, has more chances at winning a championship than one with Chrissy Bosh in his prime..

Now bounce..

This board needs to pull its head out of its ass and stop acting like a bunch of five year olds.

Show some common respect to people who raise valid discussions instead of just attacking them.
