I'm praying that this game won't be blacked out (although I'm pretty sure it will be). :(

KG looked really horrible mobility wise in the second half of the last game.

I hope he can make it through this one's 15mins without having to play on one leg.

D'Antoni said not to read too much into the starting line-ups for now. I'm guessing he's just giving the vets a nod since he's only had training camp to get a look at these guys. Jeffries and Harrington have played well, but Hughes is garbage and I'd love to see Gallo and Chandler be the eventual starters...so we'll see. I'd guess that if they're not starting opening day, one or both of them will be by the all-star break. Knick fans are anticipating big years from both of these guys.

I thought Hughes ran the point? Didn't he run point when he was in Washington and Cleveland?Or am I crazy? That's why I was like 'Whoa' when I seen that starting line-up. I thought you would have either Duhon or Hughes running point, Nate at the 2, Harrington or Jeff at the 3, Lee at the 4 and Chandler at the 5...but idk much about the Knicks..lol...Perk and Sheed would have a field day against this starting line-up with Lee at C.. :D

Whoa....def not lol. Chandler at the 5?? He's a 3 and will probably spend a lot of time at the 2 this year actually. Duhon is definitely the point with the rook, Toney Douglas backing him up. He's been great in camp so far. Hughes used to play some point but has been a 2 with the Knicks. He's by far my least favorite Knick now that Q is gone and Jared has shown some signs of life. He seems the least interested out of everyone and is just a chucker. Hopefully he falls out of the rotation and should if D'Antoni is serious about winning.

I hate the Knicks with a passion.... but looking at that roster the only player I really dislike is Robinson. I remember the glory days when they had craptacular players like Crawford,Curry,Tim Thomas,Steve Francis,Qbitch,Marbury and his constant drama... and the overhyping of players like Frye and Balkman (who I both like....as ROLE PLAYERS) They also had the perfect coach for such a despicable crew,Isiah Thomas. I actually like Chandler and I am intrested in this Gallinari kid. Now I feel dirty.

Yeah, I live in NY now and two years ago they were almost unwatchable, last year just tolerable, and this year I actually hope they get the 8 seed and play the Celtics. Gallinari, Chandler, Lee, Hill, even Harrington and Jeffries now--- players I can actually root for. It's basically a team full of tweeners who can shoot the ball a bit, but still pretty entertaining style and much less punk oriented these days.

Ahhh....Walsh's plan coming into fruition. The guy knows how to build a team, and in this instance, tear down a terrible one. We're more watchable this season than we've been in almost a decade. I'm glad some people agree. The only Isiah players left are Chandler, Nate, Lee, Jeffries and Curry. Not too bad considering how untradeable Curry is at the moment.

The Knicks won't be world beaters, but they will be competitive and likable for a change. And I think this is the year we start to get some credit for having good young talent. There's really no scrubs on this team. People will say Jeffries is a scrub, but I'm sensing a pretty good year from him. His jumper is much improved and he seems motivated to silence the haters. Our biggest pitfalls are Curry for obvious reasons, and Hughes who is talented but undesirable. Something about him doesn't sit right with me, especially when he's going to take minutes from the guys we're looking forward to most. He has no future with this team whatsoever and he acts like it. I hope D'Antoni keeps him on the bench.

Anyway, sorry for the Knicks promo :D Good luck tonight, even though the Celtics have much bigger fish to fry than a preseason game against the Bockers. For Knick fans...at least ones like me....I'm looking forward to this game more than I am the Yankee game tonight. The Knicks have me whipped, so it's always fun to see them go up against a team like the C's to see how we match up, even in the preseason.

Also, Toney Douglas should play some decent minutes tonight. I'd like to hear some of your opinions on him. A lot of people are saying he has Rondo type potential. He's not quite as athletic, but he's an absolute beast on defense and knows how to run an offense. He was quite the scorer in college as well so he could turn out to be an interesting player.

I thought he was more of a combo guard? Someone in the mold of Jason Terry.

Toney could make the rotation in NY this year. He's one of those momentum changer types that coaches like to go to. I'm not sure about the Rondo comparisons yet.

Jeffries looked pretty good in the Nets game. I should apologize to the Celtics poster who suggested trading TA/Scal for him. I didn't like the idea since I didn't see what Jeffries can bring, but if he seriously has developed that 3-ball, he will earn minutes in Dantoni's system. So far so good.

Now, Hughes, OTOH, I can't believe what a waste of space he has become. I just don't get it--- how did he lose his ability so quickly? Man, he and Curry could be the toast of the town if they turned it around, but I guess you could say that about quite a few current and ex-Knicks over the past few years.

Anyway, I'll be rooting for the Celtics tonight of course (not that they really need a preseason win), but I find it unconscionable that NY has not had a playoff level NBA team for years now. They should be up there with the Lakers, Celtics, etc--- I mean it's such a popular destination for star players, right? The management has just been inexcusable, and now D'Antoni and Walsh have started to turn it around.

2011, game 7, ECF, LeBron's Knicks at Boston. Be there.
