OT: NBA vs MLB

Thank God the NBA has a salary cap structure and restrictions unlike ML Baseball... Can you imagine the following teams?
Team A: with a $100 million payroll
Chris Paul, Kobe, Lebron, KG, and Dwight Howard with an all-star bench
Team B: with a $60 million payroll
Alston, Ray Allen, Richard Jefferson, Camby, and Shaq with a standard NBA bench
Team C: with a $25 million payroll
say a team with the caliber of, say, the OK Thunder
Obviously, in team A represents the Yankees, team B is the Red Sox, Mets, and a few others, and team C is everybody else.
It makes me laugh when skankee fans say, you got to give them credit if they win the WS, Bullcrap. Your suppose to win. If you don't it's a bleeping joke. If they win this year, well, la de da da. Pump out and pound your little chicken chests. Just like Team A SHOULD win. If they don't, it's a joke. Jeter, A-roid, and CC Fatassia make more $$ combined than the Minnesota team they beat in round 1 (25 guys on a team, mind you). The Twins had 1/4 the payroll of NY. I'll give credit to NBA champions, NHL champions, and NFL champions in which there a bleeping rules in place to keep a team from making a joke out of the league.
Well, they are still beating other PROFESSIONAL teams, skank fans say. It's not like there playing little league teams. Obviously, in the example above, team A would beat the following teams. I think using basketball players really amplifies the disparity in talent. The perception is, baseball talent isn't as obvious (in terms of measuring talent) as basketball, but the reality is the talent is just as different.
For me, 2004 was much better than the 2007 Red Sox WS championships. Because we beat Team A. I hate the Yankees much more than I love the Red Sox. If we had lost to the Rockies in 07, it would have sucked, but big deal. The truth is the Skanks have been a laughing stock since 2001. And, yes, I do give more credit to the Phillies in the WS than the Sox in 04 and 07. Baseball's lack of rules makes me. The Phillies had a much tougher time getting there than the Skanks and Soxs.
This is what makes what Danny did more incredible. 24 wins to 66 in one season? With Ainge playing within the rules? Dam! Must be hard being GM of the Skanks.... Who was an all-star last year that is going to be a free agent this summer and let's throw money at them... crap my mom could do his job. The Skanks don't deserve our respect.
