Preseason: Celtics AT Knicks - Tuesday, October 20th

This game is a waste of the C's time. Heavy minutes for Hudson, Giddens, Sweetney, Williams and Scal and hope that no one gets injured.

Actually the older starters are sitting against Cleveland, so this is their last tune up before the real deal.

I'm glad they are sitting against CLE. Dont want em catching anything off Lebron.....influenza is havoc for the old and frail...... :wink:

I really wish we played some better teams in preseason...NJ, NY, TOR, HOU isn`t really a challenge for this team...A couple of games against top competition would do us good in preparation for the regular season...

Now we have to watch NY shoot 40 threes again and play streetball basketball...

During the last game mike gorman said doc would play the starters vs. new york and rest them against cleveland so as not to give away any secrets of what the celtics would do next week for the season opener at cleveland.

Other than Houston all those team are relatively close to Boston. Is the NBA getting cheap and cutting down on travel expenses during the preseason? Since the home fans only get one chance to see teams from the west the preseason should include teams like Portland, Denver, San Antonio and New Orleans.

And why do we play multiple games against the same team?

Knicks have an awful game plan, absolutely atrocious defense and shooting 20 three's in one half. Rondo can get to the rim at whenever he wants and the Knicks have no gaurds who can handle Daniels' height.

Oh and the refs calling that flagrant on House is (Please Use More Appropriate Word), especially compared to that euro bringing Rondo to the ground by his face.

LOL. Gallinari first tried to block Rondo but after Rondo went under him for the reverse layup he pulled him down (and I admit that grabbing Rondo's face wasn't necessary), but House just tackled a guy in mid-air with no chance at the ball whatsoever.

House tried to wrap him up and went all the way down with him, hard to sell the fact that a 5'9 House would be tackling anyone.

So you admit he grabbed his face on the way down, in any other game that constitutes a flagrant, it was a clear shot at his head.
