Wallace, Daniels & Hudson

Glen “Big Baby” Davis is steadily improving & Eddie House is a bona-fide three-point-threat. Both can be counted upon. No Question.
Add to that duo, the Little trio: Rasheed Wallace, Marquis Daniels, and Lester Hudson. Just like the addition of Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett turned this team around – from dark to LIGHT. So goes the Little Three.
This “secondary” unit is better than about half the starting line-ups throughout the league. And do you know who their biggest fans are? The Big Three.
You're only as good as your backups. And our backups have three former starters. Bring it on! - #18.

I love this bench. Its also one we can have for the next 2 years or so and they'll get even better with greater chemistry.
House/Quisy were made to play with one another. And Sheed is Sheed.

Hudson won't play much..so the little 3 should be Sheed, Quisy and Eddie...

I think Scal gets dropped from SF experiment and Quis plays there with Eddie/Hudson ever so often - this is the " we are handling your ass" lineup they put in before the official garbage time crew...this unit will get some chances, mark my words...lotta easy games this year...

As for the 10th man role currently occupied by Scalabrine (6th, 7th, 8th and 9th going to Sheed, Daniels, House and Baby respectively), I think it will go by committee. I think Scal will get the nod against power 3s like Rashard Lewis and Al Harrington, TA will see time guarding scoring combo guards like Lou Williams and Ben Gordon and Giddens will see time guarding bigger mismatch men like Iguodala and LeBron. Hudson might get some minutes occasionally to stretch the floor.

Yeah, either Eddie or Big Baby have to be in the little three. One of them can be Pierce, the one that stuck it out on the bench, and Daniels/Sheed can be Allen/Garnett, the major acquisitions.

I don't get the infatuation with Hudson; he's been ok and probably makes the team, but people are acting like he's been some kind of revelation...

It's his defense. It's good. His confidence is very good; he doesn't hesitate. He's an instigator. The only thing we haven't seen from him is scoring and that's not bad either considering he's been trying to fit in and not act like he's the star he was in college like so many young guys do.
But you're right in that it is only preseason and he has to do it when it counts. He has made the team though.

Plus, however good a point guard Rondo is, he's not a shooter. Hudson's an unheralded, overaged rookie who plays defense, has a good attitude, is showing he can pass and pick up on point guard responsibilities---plus +++ he can shoot.
Not about to start for the C's or anything, but something of a revelation after Pruitt and Green and Banks and...

I think Hudson will end up being ahead of Williams, as our 3rd best pickup this summer. The guy definitely has NBA level game.

After watching Pruitt hesitate so bad and be indecisive, its nice to see a guy with confidence in his own game and his ability to run an offense/take the shot when its given. I really hope TA doesnt get minutes over this guy...they need to just end the TA saga now.
Hudson
House
Daniels
Baby
