There we go. That's some awesome work from our bench. And the C's certainly knew how to close out quarters.

So who gets the cigar? My vote goes to the captain for showing up in right when we needed him, in the 4th.

No doubt in my mind that Pierce deserves it. When the game got tough, Pierce had no problem scoring the game winning shots.

I'm going with KG, for playing 33 minutes and playing well... next game I'll give someone a real vote for a real reason but for now nothing seemed more important to me.

No contest. TRUTH. 23 points, 10 points in the last 6 minutes of the game, 3 CLUTCH AS HELL Js when we were about to give the game away in Q4, 11 rebounds. GREAT D on the superhuman monster that Lebron has become. TRUTH!

KG was nice but I am bit concerned about his mobility and missing a gimme dunk. Some nice shooting by Sheed. Some nice hustle by Rondo with 10 assists. Ray was off and made some really dumb TOs.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Ill go with the captain tonight. He stepped it up in the fourth when we needed him. Overall, a good team win though.

That was my first instinct. But Pierce kept LBJ reasonably in check, where by "reasonably in check" I mean "scored 38 points but not with amazing efficiency".

Got to agree with my dude X on this one...there really shouldn't even be any other names on there, but Paul's!
And about Ray Allen..he was off, and still had 16 pts..how **** awesome is that?I love this team..

With out a doubt P2. Though Perk gets honorable mention for putting the clamp on shaq, after the first quarter.

I'm voting Pierce with honorable mention for the bench.

But I can't say he kept Lebron from having efficient shooting. Lebron had 22 shots and 38 points; that's the definition of efficient. Lebron was scary good out there tonight.

I voted for Pierce but I thought Sheed and Marquis both did a very nice job tonight. The whole team played well but I thought those players stood out. Great win tonight in Cleveland. :D

I thought Sheldon Williams did a nice job tonight. His hands were pretty bad but I think it's because he hasn't played for a team that passed the ball. Remember Big Baby had the same problem his first year on the Celtics. Sheldon gave me hope that he can be a useful role player in time.

Before Pierce took over the game it was going to be a very difficult decision between him, Sheed and maybe KG.

I tucked a vote in for Ray Allen I thought he was everywhere tonight.

Rondo was also kind of ridiculous in the sequence with a handful of rebounds with the game in the balance, kid was just exactly what I hoped he would be after all the drama. Hope that deal gets done.

Thought Perk did a great job against the man mountain and 3 pt play was key.

Pierce was a beast I just grade him hard. He looked awesome on the defensive end tonight.

Yeah, but Pierce had 23 on 13 shots.... that's even more efficient than the definition. But Lebron's defense....... YIKES...... this guy is the best player to ever play the game (coming from me who usually complained how overrated he has been).... now he just has to win his share of rings to get the credit for it.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Pierce. He did what he does: come up big when they need him. Savvy passing, great rebounding, and his shots and free throws down the stretch iced it. Yet another classic Paul Pierce performance in a career filled with them.
