In the interest of trying to make the best of a bad situation, Glen Davis is looking for a silver lining within the cast that runs from his right hand up his forearm.

Davis has displayed a decent left hand near the hoop, but he’s been trying to expand his range and his dexterity.

“A jump hook, a runner with the left hand - just using the left hand in general kind of throws off your opponent,” he said. “Hopefully on the scouting reports other teams use, they’ll be saying I can go right and left.

“It hasn’t been bad. It’s been pretty good. You know, I can go left. But now when I’m using it more it feels even better. With what I could already do with my left hand and with this opportunity right now to get it better, I can be better when I play again. If I can put it on the floor and go left, go left and cross back right . . . things like that, it’ll really expand my game.”

Say what you want Sheldon is kicking major ass right now 4 games if he keeps consistent, they will keep playing him.

it's the least he can do after this bonehead injury. he better keep his weight down too.

I agree about Shelden Williams. He has really surprised me, and is a better rebounder than BBD. I also think he is a better fit with Rasheed in the second unit..

It's all a nice problem to have to be too deep........

Shelden might not be stealing BBD's job, but he's making a strong case to eat into some of his minutes. As kefa said, it's a nice problem to have.

It should be noted that Bob Cousy cited the fact that he suffered a broken arm as a child as being a major factor in developing his skills with his opposite hand. History repeats!

As long as he aint improving his appetite again.....more power to him
