didn't we have him in camp and he didn't make the team his rookie year?

now he's the "super sub" for the pistons and getting lots of press. too bad we had to many contracts at the time and couldn't keep him. anyways, danny sure has an eye for players that have talent, but don't show it yet.

I think he played preseason for us but was cut before regular season roster. He was high school friend of Tony Allen.

Yeah, he played for us in preseason in 2005. The two years he spent in Europe playing at the highest level did him good. He wasn`t great in Euroleague but he gained valuable experience...

I think Hudson is similar to him...small, strong, quick, feisty defender, athletic, scoring mentality...

Hudson would be a super sub if he can somehow beat out House..

I think I remember Will Bynum being a big time turnover machine when he was here.

I recall Doc saying that he was talented enough to play in the league. Also, wasn't he the "friend" of TA whose birthday they were celebrating at the nightclub the night of the shooting?

I wish Doc had put him in last night in second quarter when Rondo was off and Eddie was airballing and frontrimming everything. It couldn't have hurt and it would have been a good test to see how he responded.

Yea, darrendaye...good memory. I think they were celebrating Bynum getting a contract with the Celtics.

Danny does have a pretty good eye...he also had Dahntay Jones here. I'm waiting for Jackie Manuel to make it next year. :)

And now Dahntay Jones is averaging 15.5 ppg and 5 rpg for the Pacers. I was really upset when we released him two seasons ago. I knew he'd blossom into a great role player, but he's even playing better now than I ever thought he would. He was a starter for a team that was in the WCF last season.

didn't we actually draft Dahntay Jones and then trade him along with someone else for Banks(ugh) and Perkins.

Yea, but it's not like Danny had anything to do with it. It was completely Memphis having that gem of a draft getting Troy Bell and Dahntay Jones.

He did what Gerald Green should do. Play overseas in their best league to work his game and confidence up, then rejoin the league.
