Check this out, folks!
Following an All League performance on Sunday, tonight:
27 points
10-15 shooting with great drives to the hoop (1 of them a move I have not seen in awhile), step back Js, transition 3s
3-7 from 3
4-4 FTs
5 Rebounds
6 Assists
1 Steal
1 Block
Great man on man D - he stripped them at least twice, took critical charge from Iggy
NO DEBATE! A true first team All Pro. As a Sixer fan said it best - Lebron without the recognition
Game comment to follow.

Biased my butt. ALL FACTS! Dispute 1 factual stat, please. And I quoted a Sixer fan - not my words. If you don't like it, you make the thread.

This may have been Paul's best game of the year. On other night's, I could've voted for Rondo, Perk or KG. Not tonight.

I vote the captain. But Like Tommy said tonight Rondo, rondo- eyes- d them in the fourth quarter.
So major up on shooting 65% three pointer 76 ers.

There is no way that we should have to struggle against teams like the Sixers. There is no way that we can seriously contend for the Banner having to depend on a MegaStar Truth performance.
KG and Ray were certainly better than the other day in NYC when they were horrible. Rondo sucked for 3 quarters, BUT I LOVED HIS FOURTH QUARTER. He was everywhere, and made the circus shot of the year I think. Message to RR - please play this way EVERY quarter. You are young and fit as hell.
I have FAITH in this team, but I am definitely concerned. What move is Danny going to make? Will KG come back to 80%? Will Ray spark up? Can RR play CONSISTENTLY the way he did in the fourth quarter?

I missed this as i was at work, but from the highlights and boxscore i went with the captain, and i guess that was the popular choice. Scary that we need these type of performances from him to barely beat lottery teams though.

Paul wins easily, KG and Ray had solid games as well.

I just listed his incredible stat line and quoted a Sixer fan from the game thread in the OP. Sheesh - when you have a Super Star performing at an All League level, ENJOY IT, REVEL IN IT! Don't undervalue it or underpraise it - as some of our brethren here do. Goddamit, Paul IS Lebron/Kobe without the recognition alot of the time.
BTW, I created the threads and voted for Rondo TWICE on nights when Paul had great games, but when Rondo was more or equally instrumental in the win, i.e. when Rondo played most of the game like he did tonight in the fourth quarter. Is that not objective? :0)
Happy Txgiving!
My GF is making a turkey tomorrow and my daughters are coming over.

Thank you. Since when is 27 points considered a "megastar" or "all league performance"? I voted PP, but you were being a little biased bud.
Wow, 21 to 1. Run away for cigar. I wonder what the record for most votes for victory cigar would be. Probably PP's game 7 vs Cleveland where he went for over 40.

Listen up, BUD!
Read what I wrote in this thread more carefully. It was not the 27 points per se, BUD. Before he sacrificed some of his O to become a consummate team player when studs like KG and Ray finally showed up, he scored in excess of 27 points hundreds and hundreds of times - as even you know. Read the rest of the stats, BUD! Try 66% shooting including about 50% from 3. It was his 6 rebounds, 6 assists, great defensive plays throughout the game, ZERO turnovers, and MASTERFULLY COMPLETE game, BUD. That is a MegaStar game, BUD!
Happy txgiving regardless. Give thanks as all of us will for the most important things in life including the health and welfare of the people you love. And then as a Celtics fan (in reality an insignificant part of our lives), give thanks that Paul Pierce has given us a HOF career over 11 years and 15 games. Give thanks that he has given us 1 banner and 1 Finals MVP so far when he was finally given studs to play with. And give thanks that he has played at an incredibly efficient All Star level over 15 games, and at an even higher level during the last 2 games - at a time when the team is struggling. If not for
Paul, we would be 4-11 now instead of a "weak" 11-4. You tell me not to overpraise him? I disagree. I revel in it because he deserves it. Continue to undervaluate and underpraise him when he is vintage Truth all day long. There are others like you on this board. I am used to it after 5 years. Sam I Am, Pete, Al Haqq and many others feel just like I do.
Peace! And again, a healthy and Thanksgiving.
And lose the "bud" when you address me if you ever want a friendly discourse with me.

Look, exculp has got his boys back no matter what. But I gotta back him up on this game. There is nothing all-world about scoring 27 points, but Paul was on top of that entire gamr from start to finish. Big shots, 3's drives, finishes, taking charges, strips, steals runnig the team, manning up playing D, grabbing boards, you name it, he did it for 42:23 or whatever it is he played.
I'm psyched because I haven't seen Paul put together a wall to wall, all around impact game like this SINCE game 7 vs. Bron. (I'LL admit I may have left a few out in my curent state of inebriation).
This really is his team, and I think he is as good as he've ever been rght now. Let it be the Paul and Rondo{if Rondo's game goes there often enough) show, hit it up with the energy of Quis/Ray and sort out KG/Perk/Sheed with Baby/Shelden.
Aww hell, I'm fdrunk and happy. GO CCCCCCCCCCC!!!!! See yall ij the morin or day after when Im sober.

Incredibly accurate and well written for an inebriated person, Dunk! LOL.
Do NOT drive, go to sleep, and have a Happy Happy Txgiving!
