Well the mods jumped the gun locking the original thread and now AI is reconsidering his retirement.

I think this acquisition is becoming more and more probable.

Nobody jumped the gun on anything. Iverson said he was retiring, and there is no information to support your thought process of this becoming "more and more probable."

And I will say "again", I want him on this team IF 1) he swears an oath not to whine when Doc uses him to back up RR and Ray/Eddie, especially during those games when RR is not playing to his considerable strengths, and when Ray and/or Eddie are "off"); and 2) he acknowledges that KG and Paul will beat the everloving **** out of him if he does start to whine.

AI has got plenty left in the tank. For his size, off court antics aside, he is arguably one of the best to ever play. He plays tough, with grit, with emotion, and with tremendous talent. If he comes with the right attitude, I WANT HIM AND I WANT HIM RIGHT NOW ON THIS TEAM!

I guess there is no information to support my thinking unless you count Ainge going on record as saying there have been internal discussions about signing Iverson.

He said it had to be unanimous and at this time it is not.

Iverson retired and now he is reconsidering it. Time is moving on and I think this deal is very probable because Boston is one of the few situations that makes sense for Iverson.

Additionally, if you believed that Iverson's retirement was set in stone you must have been surprised to see Brett Favre playing for the Vikings this season.
