Man o man....KG is just getting started......

Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett blew last night’s game out of reach by executing a joint takeover of the third quarter in the Celtics [team stats]’ 105-87 win against the Thunder.

This deadly pick-and-roll combination combined for 24 points on 11-for-12 shooting during that stretch, with Rondo also picking up four assists, and Garnett ripping the Thunder apart with a one-man 9-0 run.

But Garnett wanted to pass the mantle on to his point guard last night.




ps......anybody got anymore questions about KG's being able to compete this season??????

Kevin Garnett is done! He is slow, old, and can't even jump. Did you guys see all those alleys Rondo threw right on the money, and he couldn't finish? Not to mention he can't guard a chair. As a matter of fact, he should be on a chair..a wheel chair.

Wow..you have me on your sig! I'm flattered..thank you!..BTW..the heat have BEEN my 2nd 'favorite team', ever since they got my 2nd favorite non Celtic player in the NBA..Wade.

The answer is..............................whenever he wants to.....in any game he plays.

Not only has he been playing fabulous, but he has had a hot streak of nice passing games as well which really spreads the post which is why we have been so successful of late IMO, when he is out there hitting cutters on the baseline n hitting open bigs it opens the offense just as much as any other single component...plus it opens things up so he is not constantly hitting a brick wall of two players everytime he tries to take the ball to the hole. We all need to remember how Unselfish KG is...hes definitely getting healthier but hes probably just fed up with people saying he cant do this or that.

Rondo is playing his best ball of the season as of late, not just pesky stealing the ball all over the place, but hitting clutch jump shots? and he has just been really good at also creating for bigs/Ray/PP.

Anyways, hope the great play keeps up, Home game coming up, Lets Go C's.
