We play really well on the road. If this was at home, I'd be worried. But since it's on the road we will win. It won't be easy, but we will win.

Celtics by 9+... :)

The Celts are going to destroy these guys. We own every single matchup in this game, at least regarding the starters.

I'm going to be most interested in seeing how certain role players on the Wiz look, as we might be looking at acquiring them via trades.

I'd call Haywood/Perk even, and who would the Celtics really be looking at from the Wizards? Doubt they'd move any of the guys you'll see tomorrow night.

I'll be at this game, one of the 3-4 games each season where I root against the C's. Ultimately when my two teams meet I have to pull for the Wizards.

If KG and Rondo can keep up what they have been doing we get the W without much problem

if one of them struggles, ray or paul steps up and we win a tight one

Big Mike

I will be there also wearing my green Celtic hoody --- third row behind Wiz bench. There are usually lots of Cs fans there - I guess about 3-4 thousand out of 20 thousand. I want a show! I want the Truth to go off. I do not take Agent Buttface, Antawn and Caron Butler lightly, but we should cream them. I am spending a bunch of bucks. They better smash them. LOL.

I wouldn't mind trying to get a player like Randy Foye as a backup combo guard. He is bigger than House and better at bringing it up the court. He also can do more than JUST shoot.

But I seriously doubt Wash is looking to trade him.

Should be a close game tonight. Have fun at the game those of you who are going.

wiz season tix holder here (i'm actually making money on this game
since I can't go and the tix are def worth more than the avg game
with all the C fans wanting to come)
I'll not be at this game or the 2nd vist either though due to various conflicts,
tonight, school concert with daughter prevents this.

The way we've been playing, I would not be surprised if you did cream us.
But I also wouldn't be surprised to see another close game.

I was noticing your team stats and it struck me how none of
your big 3 is avg'g over 20. Goes to show how important that
stat actually is perhaps, given your team's outstanding record.

If the Wiz get off to a slow start (their pattern lately), you guys may well
roll to an EZ win. Surprisingly to many Wiz fans, our D has been pretty decent
this year (Haywood has played really well as has Blatche)
but our offense has been poor to put it mildly. Arenas seems very uncertain
of what to do, is thinking too much instead of playing instinctively.
Butler has been TO proned and until recently, not shooting well
at all. AJ has had some outstanding games and some clunkers.
Earl has been a matchup nightmare for most teams but RR
may be able to handle him better than most.

Anyway here's to a well played and well reffed game. I think Arenas
has been regularly shafted by the refs this year, partly leading to
his hesitant and unsteady play.

And if you guys make it back to the Finals, please beat the Lakers.
Thank you

:)

Foye is either a FA or RFA this year. He might be available on the open market.
He's another Wiz player who has been up and down. Played well at first, got
hurt and disappeared from the rotation when Earl arrived. Reemerged recently.

edit to add - Wiz fans have concluded that RF is really lacking at PG skills.
I guess he could bring the ball up court but he's not shown great halfcourt
PG skills. Shooting, esp FT shooting, has been his best skill to date.
