They are definitely not playing championship ball with another loss to the Rockets last night. If the season ended today it would be Celtics, Orlando, Atlanta and then Cleveland; in that order. What are the chances of the standings ending in this order at the end of the season? IMO, I'd rather the C's play Cleveland in the second round and only one of Orlando/Atlanta in the potential ECF. Sure there is a good chance Orlando could finish with the best record but isn't that order what we should be hoping for?

It really really really could happen, and I'd love it to. Last year was a fluke...they were good, for sure, but not 66-win good. They'll be lucky to crack 55 this season...and Queen James is gone after this year...

Yeah, they could finish 4th. They have a bad GM, a bad coach and 14 bad players. However, if Ferry gets smart all of a sudden and trades Ilgauskas for a good player and maybe even signs and trades Szczerbiak for another player, they could be much better than Orlando or Atlanta.

It's absolutely possible.

I'd try to avoid Atlanta in the playoffs. We'd be better off against a half-court, non-athletic team.

They are probably the most likely team to make a trade because they can't disappoint again this year if they want to keep James. It made sense last year not to make a trade as they were doing well, this time they have to do anything they think increases there chances.

But who do they trade? They best trading chips are Shaq and Ilgauskas, both are big expiring contracts. Big Z is LeBron's Binky and LeBron wants him to retire a Cav so I think he is out.

Shaq is a logical but his contribution do not support his contract. I am sure NY would willingly trade Curry, Harrington and Robinson for Shaq but Ferry would be fired on the spot if he help facilitate Lebron to NY. Maybe Dallas would want Shaq?

Josh Howard and filler for Snaq?? Has Mike Brown been playing Bron more at the 4? You would think being 6'8" and weighing 250 plus he would make a very good athletic pf.

Man if it was up to me I would rather have them not make it to the playoffs at all and watch Lebron walk out in the sunset looking back at all Cavs fans and saying FTW Im out of here and leave their fans high and dry.

If it was up to me I would have the Cavs face the Lakers in the finals and let LeBron go all Eagle Colorado on Kobe and bend him over a chair.

I guess your bad with history, so let me give you a history lesson. First of all the Colorado case got dropped just like your Lefail did in 2004 finals and last year when he Lafailed again by the hands of the Magic.

Even if the Cavs get past the Celtics WHICH ISNT HAPPENING everyone knows that they will get handed another woopin SWEEP by another W/C team and Lefail part II would pout and hang his head down and walk off the court without shaking anyones hand and blame everything on the bad weather in Cleveland and their fans meanwhile signing a new contract with the Knicks while trolls like you still hang his poster on top of your bedroom and your bathroom hoping that one day he might return back to Cleveland to win you a title that you have been waiting for HOW MANY YEARS NOW.

Run along little buddy and worry about the BIG DOGS in the east (Cs, Magic) before you start talking about taking on the PITBULL of the NBA.

YES, they could! Shaq is clogging up the paint for LeBron and killing them defensively. More importantly, they have lost their edge.

And it's going to cost them LeBron this summer.
