This is one of the games you circle when the schedule gets released. I hope we can pull this one out.

They played and beat the cavs like it was the play offs, we can't completely sleep on this team.

Lots of key matchups in this game:

Ray vs OJ
Paul vs Gay
KG vs Randolph (Randolph always plays great against KG)

Should be a close game. I can't wait. I didn't get to watch the Bulls game b/c its on NBA TV and NBA LP BB blacks those games out. So it feels like its been a week since I've seen a game.

The Grizz starting line up looks pretty good. Young, athletic, and Randolph has always been a scorer. The C's are better and should beat them, and on most nights will beat the Grizz easily...but on any given night... The Celtics better be prepared to bring it.

Tough game. If we come out soft, we will lose. They are doing a number on Miami today (last time I checked it was around 20) so this isn't a joke. We are far better, but they are younger and should give us a **** of problems. We need Rondo and KG to keep playing they way they have been, and one of Ray or Paul to have a good scoring game.

Celtics by 5.

Like everyone has mentioned, definitely not a team to sleep on. They have so much power offensively. If we come out stagnant on either offense or defense, we could be in trouble. If we continue to play how we have as of late, I expect a solid victory.

KG will have a field day scoring on Randolph at will. Celts by double digits.

Holy cow! How much weight did Zach Randolph lose? I barely recognize him.

Anyway, I have a feeling that this could be a letdown game, but there's no way the Celtics lose with this much rest. In a burst of homerism, I predict another beatdown. Celtics by 10+

I'd like the Grizzlies a lot more if their owner wasn't such an obvious douche. Making the decision to draft a 7'4" stiff when your center is already a decent prospect and you could have had Tyreke Evans, and disregarding your scouts and GM? That move has set them back a couple of years.

While Boston has much more than the young Grizzlies can handle I do look at it as an interesting test. Your team always plays tough defense in the paint, and Memphis has been playing very physical against teams with Randolph and Gasol really throwing their weight around. This should be a great game just to watch the Perkins/Garnett against Gasol/Randolph matchups.

Rondo should dominate Conley although Conley is one of the players in the league that can match his quickness.

Mayo is playing better than he's given credit for. Since they got Randolph, Mayo has been trying to be more of a well rounded player and doesn't take nearly as many shots as he did last year and gives up more shots to both Randolph and Gay while trying to do other things to help the team win. He's actually pretty mature considering this is his second season and he was drafted as a freshman.

While Gay has been very good this season he still doesn't have the savvy that Pierce has and I expect Pierce to have a big game.

Of course your bench is far superior to the Grizzlies, but if Memphis stays out of foul trouble their starters will play big minutes anyways. One thing I'd like to see is Perkins really giving it to Thabeet physically big time to see how the young kid can take a physical pounding. I know Gasol doesn't have any problems with it but this could be a good test for Thabeet although he usually doesn't see more than 10-12 minutes.

I predict a close, tough game for a while with the Celtics pulling away in the second half as Memphis simple can't keep up with your team's consistancy and experience on both ends of the floor. Remember, Memphis is the youngest team in the league while Boston is full of wiley vets and in my books that's always counted for alot more.
