sheed needs to be suspended by the team

we all know refs are calling fouls on him that aren't fouls, and not calling fouls committed on him. we all know they will give him a tech for anything 99% the rest of the league wouldn't.

sheed needs to shut the **** up. let the team send in film to the nba officials and call them out in media and take the fines.

he lost us this game.

1. 2pts from techs, we lost by 1.
2. He was destroying backups in the pt while in
3. He would keep scal out of the game and maybe scrub second unit guys won't go off on us.

So you want to suspend him and let Scal play more?Yeah that makes sense..come on now..our bench is already weak without Daniels and Baby..you want to suspend Sheed, so our main bench big would be Shelden Williams?

Celtics lost this game because Paul Pierce had 9 points in 34 minutes.

But your point about Sheed shutting up, and letting the Celtics
ask the League to review the non-calls and bogus calls,
is spot on.

This is part of the package you get with Sheed. You've got to let him be himself and have the respected vets in the locker room handle it. You don't turn a minor situation into something worse.

The team needs to send video of Kennedy making all those anti C's calls. I understand that you can't see every out there but he definitely has a anti C's bias since the Doc incident, how else do you call a foul on Perk for boxing out??? I want to know what he said to Sheed, cause the dude looked seriously pissed, but he should know by now that the ref's aren't his friends and wont give him jack!

We lost this game cause we uncharacteristically turned the ball over a lot and came out flat the second half. Too much bench play also.

Sheed has been doing this for 14 seasons. He will not change unless he wants to. I've been following him closely for his whole career- if he feels he's right, he will not back down from an argument. Suspending him would tell him that you don't have his back. Would be a disaster.

Doc tried to downplay this in his post game interview, so no chance fo suspension.

Sheed should just be happy we ran Leon Powe out of town because a capable inside scoring, young and composed PF would make him look pretty ridiculous.

I love the D, 3's and rebounding Sheed brings us and I won't count it out, but a bench player leading the league in T's seems outrageous to me.

I hope that u know that I like you and respect you as a poster. That said, we lost the game for ALOT of reasons INCLUDING Paul's "off game". For the first 15 games this year, IMO and Doc's, Paul played at a first/second team All Pro level. For the last 10 games, he has varied between average and too passive offensively/"off" his game (like tonight).

On the matter of Sheed, I totally agree something has to be done. We cannot give up critical points for no **** reason, and sometimes lose him (like tonight). We frigging NEED him on the court mixing up 3s and a post game, and playing tough D. He is 35 **** years old, and the time has goddam come for him to STFU even when he is correct about being jabbed, let Doc send the league tapes, and just frigging play ball. Whether we are talking about a brief suspension, a stiff team fine and/or a "sit down" with KG, Paul and Ray - I do not give a ****. He is rapidly approaching 16 techs, after which he will be suspended by the league for 1 game for every additional tech. ENOUGH!! SHeed, STFU and play ball, goddamit.

This topic is just ridiculous on so many levels. Here is why:

He has been this way since 1995. What good is a suspension going to do> Sheed is NEVER going to change.

Celtics knew what they were getting into when they signed him.

He is well on his way to suspending himself because of he technical fouls. Let nature take it course.

Here is what Doc said about Wallace:

Listen, I can [talk to Wallace]. And I will a little bit. But, I’m not going to have a summit, I can tell you that. It’s too early. He’s been doing it a long time. He’s an expert at it. But we knew that when we got him, and I still love him. I think he’s great, he’s been great for our team, but he’s going to have some of these days.’’

DC, I agree that Wallace needs to chill. He is letting his emotions control him, instead of him controlling his emotions.

After far as Wallace costing us the game, I'm not going to blame him on that. It just shows how weak our bench is. Other guys should have stepped up and they didn't. Pierce was awful and was the reason we lost.

Suspension isn't warranted, nor would it have ANY positive effect on 'Sheed. In fact, the only effect it might have is a negative one. We know what we were getting ourselves into when we signed him--and now we think we can change him? That's (Please Use More Appropriate Word). He's a grown ass man--he ain't changing...

I don't think Wallace lost us the game--we just got overconfident and stopped doing the things we needed to do. Bad ball movement, hardly any picks, lots of standing around--that's what lost the game. We got over-confident. And we didn't deserve to win.

For what I could tell, 'Sheed got his 2nd tech and got tossed for telling Kennedy that he was going to get his money back for the first tech. And you know what? He was right. Kennedy has a proven anti-Celtic bias, has been disciplined by the league before, and last night he let that bias creep into his officiating.
