Hacked. Even if Ray was getting nasty with a gal, he's smart enough not to broadcast it over Twitter.

There's like 2-3 hours between when he is tweeting that Ticha chick to when it was posted.

IMO, either hacked or was speaking to a different, hotter chick later on that night and screwed up, lol.

I believe it WAS NOT hacked.

I really don't follow Twitter at all, but do we even know for sure that this is really Ray's Twitter? And if so, it has to have been hacked. Does Ray really seem like the guy to write something like that, regardless if it was meant to be seen by the public? I just don't buy it being him.

A quick google reveals that the Echofon app for the iPhone is simply accessing Twitter via an application programming interface (API.) The level of authentication required to access Twitter is no different than if one were to pay with Libertyreserve and are redirected to Libertyreserve.com from a vendor's site. Most likely using an oauth/token request.

Now, because of the high level of authentication required, the only way one could reasonably "hack" into the Twitter would be by having Ray log his credentials into a phished site and obtaining them. This is because any attempt at a brute force attack or simply guessing at passwords (and likely associated pin) would quickly lock up the account.

It is quite unlikely, though possible, that Ray was using the Echofon app for his laptop or whatever but what's the point when one could just as easily log into Twitter itself?

Additionally, if this was truly an issue of a hacked account, why only one tweet when the alleged perpetrator could have run willy nilly all over the interweb masquerading as Jesus Shuttlesworth? I mean, if you are truly going to go through the trouble to pass yourself off as Ray Allen, don't you think you would have used that (alleged) free license to do more than post one tweet?

I call B.S. My take is that Ray Allen got caught with his pants down and stepped on his third point of contact. If that is indeed the case, he should man up and take responsibility.

And how many of those were using an API to access Twitter? It isn't like there was a keylogger on Ray's iPhone. Unless one supposes there is a person with firsthand knowledge of Ray's log-in credentials AND just so happened to be using the EchoFon app for the iPhone, I still say B.S.

Then again, Tony Allen seemed a bit miffed about the ticket bit in Chicago so I guess someone reasonably close to Ray could have motivation (though I find the supposition that someone as conflicted with ADHD as Tony Allen would be capable of memorizing whatever Ray was putting into his iPhone in the first place as highly suspect.)

There is a difference between Twitter being "hacked" and Ray Allen's Twitter account having one inappropriate tweet. It could be that he was still in his app, thought he was sending a text to his wife and mistakenly tweeted to his last contact. That seems most likely, imo, because it was just 14 minutes after the "hack" before he created a new Twitter account @greenRAYn20. Either Ray is crying wolf or he stepped on his dick. He needs to just simply come clean, imo.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that he accidentally tweeted a conversation going on between him and his wife, no? Why do we assume he's talking to another woman?

I guess it's possible but Ray seems like a class act.

If it is indeed another woman I'm sure we'll hear something about it down the road.

I have seen pictures of Ray Allen hanging out with Pornstars( Kitten the black pornstar) having dinner with them, i also seen him with Pornstar Mark Davis, these were pictures ive seen.. lol

damn, ray slipped up, let's not try to pretend he didn't. i'm actually kind've suprised he cheats, anyone else nah, but ray? wow. o well.
