Nash moves to 2nd in All-Star votes

Suns guard Steve Nash has moved into position that would have him start the All-Star Game in the latest fan voting returns that also have Amar'e Stoudemire expanding his lead on the Western Conference's starting center spot.

Nash had been trailing Houston's Tracy McGrady for the second West guard spot behind the Lakers' Kobe Bryant on the first count but passed McGrady in returns released by the NBA today. Nash is still in for a tight battle. His 546,064 votes is only 4,874 ahead of McGrady and 24,596 ahead of New Orleans' Chris Paul. Nash's only previous All-Star Game start was in the 2006 game.

ps.....the C's are getting a few more votes.....

I can't believe Iverson is getting that many votes, he shouldn't be second for eastern guards.

Iverson being the second most popular guard in the east still is baffling. Dont get me wrong i love fan voting, but to what end? (All those years Yao was voted 1st team center even when his stats werent that great his first few years) and TMAC getting as many votes as he had before he played, i guess for once im not mad at the system lol. Im just confused as to who would vote for AI that much THIS year? ha probably AI.
