This is not a "were better then you thread". Just wanted to get you thoughts on real team talent, not the my team is better then sliced bread crap. As of now, you have the best record in the East, with a couple of teams not far behind. The question is about how teams, your team will do if you experience more injuries? Take a look at Orlando. They have not played their projected starting lineup, except for one time. Lewis missed the first 10 games, Carter and Anderson were both out for about 2 weeks, over lapping for some of that time. Jameer has missed the last 5 weeks. And we are only 2 games behind Boston. So how will Boston fair with out Paul P? Time will tell. How will they respond with out any other major player, again only time will tell.
So it would seem the question has been answered as to Orlando, only time will tell for Boston.
Don't get me wrong, i am not looking or calling for injuries.
Just wanted to start a conversation and get your thoughts.

The Celtics have missed Davis and Tony Allen for an extended period, and figure to be without Daniels for a while. Those guys aren't our big guns by any means, but they are 6 through 9 for us, and figure to be key rotation players come June. And don't forget Garnett has been working his way back all year, only really getting going over the last 2-4 weeks.

Orlando probably has a better bench depth wise than us at this moment, but our bench features more impact players...It all depends on what each team needs their benches for...If Boston and Orlando are both going into the second quarter down 7 I would take the Celtics bench of Baby, Sheed and House over Orlando's. If each team is up 7 then I would take Orlando's bench.

If both benches played 5 on 5 I think the Celtics win easily.
