Since Posey left in 2008 we have a gap at sf position. We lack a good defensive sf with a 3pt range. Daniels works the best as pg/sg combo, also has no outside shot.

We have only this 6 players with guaranteed contracts for 2010/11:

RONDO
?
PERCE
GARNETT/DAVIS
PERKINS/WALLACE

Lets see what are the options for back up sf position:
(All players are unrestricted FA, some have player option)

Maurice Evans (P)
Raja Bell
Tim Thomas
Kelenna Azubuike (P)
Rasual Butler
Steve Novak
Joe Alexander
Jarvis Hayes
Bobby Simmons
Matt Barnes (P)
Rodney Carney
Travis Outlaw
Keith Bogans
Roger Mason
Antoine Wright
Kyle Korver
Mike Miller

I think a lot of the players could be had for around 3 mio per year.

Travis Outlaw has the best potential, I also like Mason and Butler....Bell would be the best veteran to have.

A lot of options open.

If we retain House for 3 mio and Daniels for 3 mio (out of midlevel) we will have 3 mio to spend on sf. Shammond Williams for minimum and one veteran pg for minimum. And of course Ray Allen for 6-7mio and we would have a roster of 12 players.

RONDO/Daniels/Veteran pg
Allen/House
PERCE/Veteran sf
GARNETT/DAVIS/Williams
PERKINS/WALLACE

Why not focus on this year? This team is going for #18. A lot can change in the offseason.
