According to the wiretap, Shawne Williams and Sean Williams are likely to be cut very soon.

I'll be completely honest and say that I have not seen Shawne Williams play in the NBA at all, so I don't know what has happened to him. But he had BIG TIME potential in college coming out of Memphis. He's a long athletic guy that can play multiple positions which sounds perfect for us, although very inexperienced would be an understatement. Is it worth trying him out with a 10-day contract?

Sean Williams interests me mildly but not only would he not get any minutes but when he does he won't do anything impressive except for an occasional huge dunk or block. Otherwise he just runs up and down the court.

Sean Williams isn`t NBA caliber player. He just doesn`t understand the game...I saw Shawne a few times when he was in IND and wasn`t impressed. They are also both cancers off the court, so that doesn`t help either...players like these might get another chance on young rebuilding teams but are certainly not material for contending teams...

Wish it were Marcus Williams being cut. Then I'd have interest.

Sean Williams would be a great fit if we didn't have the holes elsewhere at SF and PG, and a relative logjam up front.

But come to think of it, if there were any sign of a reasonable person above the neck, he'd be worth a shot. Might be worth dumping Giddens for, actually.

We really don't have the ability to take on any more guys that aren't proven players in the league already. We don't have the PT to offer to nurture guys along into a role on our team. Neither of them have proven anything in the league, I'll pass on both.

This team doesn't need scrubs. If they make a move, it needs to be for someone who can help.

That idiot Doc doesn't play some of the players we have currently on the roster, so I don't see any of these guys getting minutes.
