Figured I would make a game thread since no one else made one.
Don't care if the nets only have 3 wins this is going to be a tough game because of the celtics injuries and the fact that the celtics are constantly playing down to the level of their competition.

Thing is, the Nets play down, too -- but they play below the level of opponents. They're not as underperforming as, say, the Clippers, but they have no roster excuse for having won just three games.
If the Nets can somehow get psyched to play the C's, they have a chance. If they realize the C's are weakened, smell blood, get offered free doughnuts . . . whatever it actually takes to motivate them. Plenty has been said about why they're so disspirited, and frankly I don't expect them to bring much on a regular basis until they move to Brooklyn, but they should still have flashes.
The only real key for the Celtics is to not take a win for granted. Play some smart offense and some reasonable defense, and take the wind out of the other team early. Then put them away in the third.

Davis has to learn how to pick up fewer fouls if he wants to be great off the bench. Especially with Garnett and Wallace both out.

Until or unless the lead drops below ten points, heck yes. Or maybe rotate Rondo, Ray, and Perkins through, one at a time, with bench players.

No one on the Nets plays a lick of defense. Lopez is either just not a good defender or he has given up trying.

Almost.

He has a +/- of +30 right now, although Pierce is +31.
