I know he's no spring chicken, but if Doc isn't confident with playing the kids maybe we should sign him. This might be even more necessary if we will be making a trade.

Stackhouse is done. I would sooner try and sign Alaa Abdelnaby.

We'd just have to sign Joe Smith and Mcdyess and we'd have the top 5 picks in the 1995 draft.

That would be awesome if this year was 2000.

If we get another injury on the wing, I'd bring him in depending on what condition he's in. He's been done for a while, but Doc would obviously trust him over Giddens or Walker, so instead of running Ray into the ground, I'd give him a chance. He'd have no role come playoff time or when Daniels is healthy again. Maybe bring him in on a ten day contract and see what he has.

No need in a SG. backup PG or a SF are much more important right now...

Bonzi Wellls has been working out with Tim Grover... he would give us more than Stackhouse at this point (not that i have any idea how much that would be)

I'd be on board for this. I'd like to see him going up against some more legit competition than in China though, to see if he really still has it, before bringing him in.

TA is playing well and Quisy is coming back soon enough so we really don't need him. If anything, we need a big point guard

Stackhouse doesn't really fit a need for Boston, but I think he could fit on another team. Like someone else has stated, if Boston signs a vet, he should be able to play the point. Or, if he's a wing like Stack, then I'd like someone that can defend opposing wings like Posey did.

What is Dee Brown up to these days? How about David Popson? We could use a back up center. Can we sign Stojko Vrankovic? John Bagley? Kevin Gamble? Brett Szabo? I could go on and on and list sucky or washed up players the celtics should sign

This is true, Stackhouse is still probably more productive at this stage than Giddens ever will be...
