Sorry to bring this into a basketball forum but millions of people's lives have been turned upside down on Tuesday and basketball seems a bit insignificant at the moment.

Donate 1 gal of mineral water every family in Boston community and marked it "Donated by Boston Celtics" as simple as that.

I think donating money is best, if you can. The Red Cross and other organizations know best what is needed and can spend the money accordingly.

Every little bit helps folks. If all you can spare is a dime, then by all means, please chip in. That country needs help.

I've taken some time to do a little research on where to donate. It's really important that the releif aid get to where it is needed. The suggestions above are solid. I decided on Partners in Health:

Here are some gradings of charities. Unfortunately with some charities, a relatively small percentage of the money makes it to those in need. Also, watch out for scams. It's sad but it happens every disaster.
