OT: Best Ways to Help Haiti

Sorry to bring this into a basketball forum but millions of people's lives have been turned upside down on Tuesday and basketball seems a bit insignificant at the moment.

when in terms of charity 7 people passed by and just watched...
Donate 1 gal of mineral water every family in Boston community and marked it "Donated by Boston Celtics" as simple as that.

I think donating money is best, if you can. The Red Cross and other organizations know best what is needed and can spend the money accordingly.

Here are some gradings of charities. Unfortunately with some charities, a relatively small percentage of the money makes it to those in need. Also, watch out for scams. It's sad but it happens every disaster.
