Not really a rumor, more like speculation. I'd like Caron without trading Ray, but Jamison's contract is long and KG is a better player and plays the same position. Antwan can't play the 3 spot anymore.

I would do either Butler for Ray + plus, but the Celtics don't have anything of value that could would be acceptable "plus" to the Wiz.

I'd wear a suit made out of dog$hit to have Caron on the team. Hopefully a deal gets done. We've got an abundance of expirings to satisfy them.

Pure speculation. Blog with no credibility and MSPaint'd pictures of players in Celtics uniforms... doesn't really get much worse than that.

Only way we get either is moving Ray. I can't see use moving Ray for Jamison (conflicting positions) and I've voiced my displeasure with Butler before.

How about this deal (its similar to a T-Mac rumor)

Ray and Baby

for

Butler, Miller, Foye

New Roster

Perkins/Wallace
KG/Shelden/Scala
Pierce/Daniels
Butler/Miller/T.Allen
Rondo/Foye/House

D-league: Walker, Giddens

You guys got to read this article about Randy Foye. I got a good laugh from some of the lines.

I don't think salary cap relief and Baby is enough to get that done. Baby is a decent rotation player, but his lack of interest from teams last summer should you how much value he has as a trading chip. Baby is a serviceable rotation player, but he does not have the upside to get a guy like Butler.

Besides Foye and Miller have value considering they represent about 14 million dollars in expiring contracts. So the difference in washing cap space next year from that deal is not enough.
