http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/celtics/ ... redemptionI don't think he should do it. He did horrible last time he took part in it. The announcers even made fun of his shoes. Ray and House would do much better then Paul.

He has been hitting it pretty damn well the last couple years.

Let him in if he wants to do it. I'd rather watch stars rather than some of these scrubs they get who end up choking in the damn thing.

Hopefully if he does it he remembers to tie his shorts. His bare-ass hanging out might not be the best thing for all star weekend.

Nah. Paul shouldn't participate in ANYTHING during the All-Star weak. He should rest his knee for that period. I think Eddie is going to be in it though. If you go on Celtics.com, it has videos of him preparing for it..and I really hope he goes..

I'd like to see him in it again...him & House should flip a coin, cause they'd both be decent.

Why can't they both go? Is there a rule against that?

If eddie hit the first 2 or 3 in a row he would win the damn thing, once he gets going i dont think there would be anyone better suited to it

I'd like to see Paul rest the knee also but if he's going to play in the AS game I don't see why he can't do the 3 point contest. Let's see how his most recent injury plays out first.
Anyhoo Paul has a real nice rhythm to his 3 point shot this year, I think his selection of shots has more to do with the high percentage than anything else. He's been shying away from 3's he can't step into and really follow through on. If only Sheed followed Paul's lead of taking shots in rhythm and nothing else we'd have another 40% (questionable but he'd be close) 3 point shooter.
Tell you the truth It'd be great to see Paul Eddie and Ray in the 3 point contest, of course only a Celtic fan would say that but any of them could win it.

I wouldn't let him play in the All-Star game either. I love the fact that Ray Allen probably won't make it. That way he gets to rest and get his body healthy for the second half of the season. There is absolutely no point in Paul playing..not him or KG. Matter of fact, if I see KG in there, going up for lob passes all game long I am going to have a heart attack.

There isn't a doubt in my mind that KG will not play a second in the AS game, and fans ought to be bull**** if he does. Given his history in the last two seasons he's got no business playing in a meaningless exhibition (this is if he's even returned to playing with the C's by then).
I'd be shocked if Ray Allen gets picked, he is not playing at an all star level this year. Paul most likely gets in but we don't know how serious this knee bump is. ASG is still a couple weeks away so I might be alright with him playing 10-15 minutes if he's near 100% by then. I don't think Paul would willingly sit if he gets picked, and I don't think Danny/Doc/Wyc/whoever will tell him he can't play either.
If Rondo doesn't get picked, I'm not watching it.

I agree, KG doesn't deserve to start or even play in the game. Also Bosh deserves the starting spot more. But I think Rondo and Ray both deserves spots on the roster. They've kept us afloat along with Perk.
