Re: Perk
Being a top three center in the league really isn't a compliment right now. The elite bigs are so watered down right now. Chris Kaman is probably a top five center in the league, that's how bad it is.
All that said, I'd still say Perk's amongst the elite centers in the league, in terms of true centers. When you consider guys like Gasol, Duncan, Jefferson, Amare, and so on centers, he might be fringe top ten, if that. In terms of guys who would be considered a center regardless of the team they played on, it's Dwight, then Yao (when healthy), and then I'd say it's Perk. Maybe Shaq depending on what he can pull out for the playoffs.
He doesn't get the name recognition, but he's just the perfect guy to have at center. He takes high percentage shots and his offensive game has continuously been expanding. He's probably the second best (could argue best) man defense center in the league. He's just the perfect complement role player to have with a quality team around him.
It's going to be interesting after next season to see what we do with him and determining his worth. He's one of the best values in the league right now at around 5-6 million dollars per. He'll probably be looking for around $12M in 2011. As long as we can keep two very good scoring options between Rondo and Perk, we'll be competing for nearly the next decade.

It does get old watching it sometimes but at the same time Perk plays the game with a huge chip on his shoulder and that is a big part of why I like him so much, in this I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too.
Don't change Perk, not a single bit.
