i hope Doc plays KG and Sheed together more. Doc hasnt taken advantage of that combo. KG and Sheed should finish games together. That lineup spreads the floor for Rondo & Paul to drive to the basket. Sheed can do alot more for you at the offensive end at the end of games. He can post up and unlike Perk, Sheed can pass out of the double team. He spreads the floor and can make 3's or mid range jumpers. He is a far superior free throw shooter than Perk too. I hope Doc takes advantage of his most dangerous lineup which is Sheed with the rest of the starters. Sheed is in better shape now than he was to start the year, its time Doc took advanatge of the versatility this lineup provides.

How do you figure Perk can't pass out of double teams? I've seen him dish to Rondo underneath the basket after his man comes to double from the weak side all the time...

That's a rarity.

Perk does not know what to do with the ball on the low block . If the name of the game is "let's create a turnover" by all means, run the offense through Perk.

He either :
gets the ball taken away from him
OR
throws it out of bounds.

The only way he should see the ball on offense is if it's a drop down pass from a teammate driving the lane.

That's a harsh statement for the guy with the highest field goal percentage in the NBA. More often than not, he's actually scoring, not turning it over. And I think he knows exactly what he's doing on the low block. This season he's been by far our most consistent post scorer and honestly I'd like to see him get more shots rather than less. He's effective and efficient, and in my opinion is good at recognizing when to give it up. I don't mind that he typically doesn't pass it out once he gets in good post up position. If anyone on the team has good post position people should clear out and let them do work, even if it's Rondo.

His 2.6 TOV are still less than Al Horford or Dwight Howard, and his per 36 minutes TOV are less than Shaq's.

lets be honest 90% of perks buckets come from rondo dishing it to him for a layup or on offensive rebounds. perk has devolped a pretty nice jump hook and fadeaway. but when he is double teamed he either puts up a bad shot or makes a bad pass most of the time. he isnt doubled too often but i have noticed he struggles to pass out of the double team. regardless sheed is a much more talented and versatile offensive player. having sheed on the court with the starters will create more matchup problems and spread the floor. too many things sheed can do that perk cant

?? Al horford has a 1.5 assist to TO ratio. Perk has .46 which is pathetic as D Howard. Sheed is a much better passer by FAR.

Watching Perk turn that ball over when he's on the block is frustrating. Don't get me wrong - he's improved a lot on that block, to the point where I'm not even surprised that he scores so frequently. However, when a double-team is thrown at him, 99 times out of 100, he's either throwing that ball away, or he's going to get called for a travel.

Back to the topic - I don't think we've seen much of the KG/Sheed duo due to the fact that neither one of them prefers to be down on the blocks. If Sheed made an effort to park his big butt down there every trip down the court whenever he played alongside KG, then I'd be all for it.
