Let's trade our entire bench and ruin our chemistry to acquire a bunch of bench guys who are no better talent wise. Great trade!

You have three major problems with this trade:
1) Size. A five for three trade is too big to happen mid year unless it's a significant talent advantage or you're blowing it up. We're doing neither. This trade depletes us too much and it gives Sacto too many players.
2) Talent. We lose talent wise. I like Sergio but he hasn't done anything in his NBA career. Nocioni is ageing and way overpaid, though still a decent roleplayer. Garcia is a nice roleplayer but he has some injury issues and a really long deal. If I were to rank the players in this deal (including production, upside, contract, age) it would be Marquis, Big Baby, Garcia (long deal at 5-6 mil per), Eddie, TA, Nocioni (awful contract), Sergio, Scal.
3) Chemistry. We're losing 80% of our second unit in this deal, then trying to integrate three new players mid year while contending for a title. That's way too much shake up to happen in mid-season. To make a deal like this we'd need to win big on talent. We don't win big on talent in this deal.

at Sergio being thrown into the deal. I really thought all his fanboys would have disappeared when he couldn't beat out Beno Udrih for a starting spot.
Our bench would then consist of
PG Spanish Chocoloate
SG Giddens/Walker
SF Nocioni
PF Sheldon Williams
C Sheed
So, basically, the backup PG, already a weak spot, becomes even weaker. Sheldon Williams is a downgrade from BBD. And Giddens/Walker is a downgrade for any wing position. Garcia is still out of action isn't he?
Sacramento better be throwing in some lottery picks and free nights at the Palm's to add to the garbage they'd be sending us.

So we trade our entire bench for 2 scrubs and a decent player?
